Year-End Performance Summary


Employee Quick Guide
In the year-end Assess and Reward Performance phase:
Employees submit a performance summary.
Managers assess employees goals and behaviors using the 9-box assessment tool and validate rewards.

How did you do? Click here to get started.

Click go to start the Enter your 2014 performance summary task. Click on
the Goals tab to review your previous goals in the system. View goal details by
clicking on the double arrow next to each goal.

Draft performance summary


On the Performance Summary tab, describe your significant achievements, including data and examples.

Explain how and why your performance and behaviors have benefited the team and the organization.
If some goals were not achieved, detail the key challenges that impacted your performance. Consider what
you might do differently next time.
Sample Performance Summary
Exceeded business development target by
5%. Overall, financial performance for the
market sector has been flat for the past year.
I think we are turning the business around
due to the responsiveness of our team. I led
the team through three major pursuits and
have successfully collaborated with other
departments in providing fact-based solutions
that fully addressed client needs.
Created new practices to improve the sales pipeline;
however, the new practices have not taken off as
there has been disagreement on implementation.
I need to improve collaboration between
administration, practitioners and sales team.
Instituted Safety for Life program in all of my
projects, including a required Safety Minute at
the start of each meeting. Identified that not all
site staff were trained on key safety measures. I
have taken safety very seriously this year and have
changed the culture of the project teams with

on safety for others to follow.

you may:
Save your summary and come back to it later, or
Submit your summary for your managers review by
clicking the Complete Task button.

Whats next?
Your manager will collect feedback from others, as applicable, to get their perspective on your performance,
identify a rating that reflects both performance and behaviors and write your evaluation. At the start of the fiscal
year, you and your manager will meet for a one-on-one conversation.
