Lesson Summary
This is developed to focus on listening and speaking skills. The language content that is being
emphasized is word class, adjectives. In set induction, students would be asked WH questions
about the name and the sounds of animals. While in pre-listening stage, students need to
describe the animals shown in a picture and they have to make at least 5 simple sentences with
adjectives. During while listening, two worksheets would be answered by the students, which
are true false questions and cloze. For the post-listening, students would play animals flash
cards games whereby they would guess the name of the animal on their back. In closure part,
teacher will highlight the lesson by asking questions about the lesson. Teacher will highlight the
moral values which is, love your pet.

Transcribed Audio text

It is a wonderfully warm day and Bobby and his mother are going
to the zoo. First they see some monkeys. The monkey is eating
banana, said Bobby. They see an old man is feeding the
monkeys in the cages. Bobby takes a photo with the monkeys.
Do you want to watch the flying squirrel? asks Mother. The
squirrel has a long tail and jump very fast. After that, they go to
see the elephants. The elephant is really big. It has a sharp tusks
and long trunk. Next to the elephants are the zebras. Bobby
watches them eating the grass. After a long walk, they sit on a
bench and enjoy eating ice cream. The ice cream is delicious.
Suddenly, he saw a boy crying loudly at the corner and calling for
his mother. Bobby mother come to the boy and bring him to the
counter to search for his mother. The boys mother thanks them
for their kindness and they continue their walk in the zoo. Lastly,
they go to see the crocodiles before they go home. The crocodile
is in green colour and it has sharp teeth too. Booby feels tired and
they wave goodbyes to the zoo keeper and walk home happily.
