PREFACE

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The coatings program Engineer is the person most responsible for the
development of policy, the determination of a coatings strategy, and the
preservation of corporate standards. This Engineer must address
management concerns about the proposed program: Corporate benefits,
thorough planning, Technical adequacy, Environment and Safety, and
Budget requirements.
This program has been designed and developed by the Coating Consultant
GIROS INDONESIA. A primary function of the coatings personnel is to
present the overall objectives of coatings projects to company management
in a manner that gains their trust and support, thereby enabling the technical
aspects of projects. Corporate management is interested in strategic planning,
budgets, and engineering philosophy, rather than the day-to day issues of
surface preparation and coatings application. The coatings Engineer must
bridge the gap between the practical needs of the coatings strategy and
the administrative needs of the corporate organization
My Warmest Regards,
