The objective of this certification program is


to provide the qualified individual with a
globally recognized credential as a Certified
Construction Project Consultant, certificate
issued by The American Academy of Project
Management AAPM.

If you are an engineer and have at least 4 years of

experiences in construction project management, you

Duration: 40 hours

Course Outline
1.

Conceptual & Feasibility Study - assist client for selecting the project site and establish the conceptual estimates and
carry out study for technical, economical viability.
2. Planning & Scheduling - prepare details of project schedule, provide input and examine and analyze the project
planning
3. Tendering & Procurement prepare tender document, analyze the rate and, to assist the invitation for tendering
process. and to assist in price negotiation
4. Estimating and Budgeting - prepare the estimate of project and get it approved as a budget, review the budget
periodically.
5. Contract and Legal Considerations - prepare work order & Letter of Intent and assist the client on terms and
conditions of contract.
6. Monitoring and Controlling - evaluate progress against plan by monitor the works and exercising positive correction
action over unacceptable variances.
7. Change order & Cost Control - monitoring of changes in scope and the preparation of required cost variation through
cost report.
8. Invoicing & Payment Certification - prepare and recommend the certification of all running & final bills and assist the
client on payment to the contractor.
9. Quality Assurance & Control - ensure the quality of works when necessary and to generate the quality report by
describing corrective & preventive actions if any. To inspect and control of all tests on site and witnessing to all tests
carried out by the contractor.
10. Directing & Expediting - solving the problem with full proof solutions by proper directing and taking immediate
decision and action on any project matters or issues
11. Testing & Commissioning - assist the client for getting testing certification from third party. To ensure and provide the
client with maintenance, operating and service manual
12. Handing Over - prepare a snag list and handing over with respect to the terms of the contract.
