This activity is to serve the community through health education. It aims to provide
important information/knowledge about the Ligtas Tigdas at Polio (Expanded Program
on Immunization) by the DOH.
This activity conducted to help individuals to:
1) Be motivated to submit their child for immunization
2) To participate in the development of an over-all health plan for the community
and its implementation and evaluation
3) Inform the public about the availability and schedule on RHU, BHC, and other
remote areas
4) Establish a strengthen links bet. The community service, supportive supervision
and maximizing resources

Course Title

Expanded Program on Immunization

Course Description

This course deals with the immunization program by the DOH, its availability and schedule
of RHU,BHC and other remote areas including its benefits and importance of immunization
and most vaccine-preventable diseases.

At the end of the course, and given simulated situation/conditions, the participants will be
