My Dear Eastern Kentucky Friends and Colleagues,

Greetings in the Name of the Lord.
As we look toward our Conventions and Assembly next month, the reports, voting, and
celebration, will be just a portion of all that will transpire during these important days. Please plan
to join us. Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. We have much to be
thankful for and much to look forward to on the EKD.
Here are a few Assembly details:
We are providing childcare for newborn through 6th grade during the day and evening services.
For the daytime care, it is crucial to register.
Workshops are being offered on Tuesday afternoon.

Jared Burgess (London) Suffered a head injury and
will have a hand surgery May 17th following an
accident from a tree falling on their carport this
past week during the storms.
Pete Hall will have surgery to remove part of his
bladder and kidney on May 27th.
