As part of the extension programme to accommodate increased passenger
numbers from the new A380 superjumbo, ALEMCO was appointed to provide
the design, supply and installation of containment, earthing and small power for
all of the SAS (Specialist Airport Systems). The new concourse is located airside
with passenger connection to Terminal 3 provided by people movers. Baggage
is handled by a utility tunnel that allows vehicle access. It includes 4 and 5 star
hotels, first and business class lounges, arrival and departure floors and a duty
free area.
