In Selections
You now have the opportunity to practice the comprehension skills
developed in the unit. First, preview the idioms and new vocabulary for each
selection. Then, as you read, be aware of the phrases, and the expression of
points of view. You will also draw conclusions from the selections. Finally,
you will use these skills as you complete a writing assignment.
