INCIDENT REPORT
DESCRIPTIVE NARRATIVE
On Tuesday, April 05, 2016, at approximately 1400 hours, I, Officer Sara Perkins, was dispatched to Ridgeland Police Department, 115 West School
Street, Ridgeland MS, 39157, in reference to a grand larceny report in the lobby.
Upon arrival I made contact with Francis Emerson
who stated that Kevin Boney
stole $1,050.00 from him on March 11, 2016. Emerson stated that he hid the cash in a rolled up glove in the backseat of his vehicle while he
was staying with Boney at the Red Roof Inn, room 374, and noticed that it had been stolen on March 12, 2016. Emerson stated when he confronted
Boney about the money, Boney told Emerson that he had taken the money but that he would pay him back. Emerson stated that he wished to sign an
affidavit for warrant against Boney for Grand Larceny.
Emerson was unable to complete a written voluntary statement due to a right arm injury. Emerson advised that he could provide me with a written
statement but that he was able to sign his name. Emerson signed an affidavit for warrant against Boney for grand larceny.

On Sunday, June 5, 2016, at approximately 1823 hours, I, Officer Patrick Craig, was dispatched to
5520 Ridgewood Road Jackson, MS 39211 in reference to Jackson Police Department being out
with a subject that Ridgeland Police Department had an active warrant for Grand Larceny
(warrant# 16121201). Upon arrival, I positively identified the subject as, Kevin Boney
. I ran Boney's information through RPD dispatch and they confirmed the active
warrant. I placed Boney in custody and transported him to RPD headquarters for booking
purposes.
Boney was given a $2500.00 written bond, which he was unable to post and transported to
Madison County Detention Center. Boney is scheduled to appear in Ridgeland Municipal Court on
June 21, 2016 at 0830 hours.
