Specifications of Corrosion inhibitor Injector Assembly:

The injector assembly offered should be capable of injecting corrosion inhibitor in gas flow lines to
prevent corrosion. The injection will be done at the centre of the pipe in the direction of the product
flow. Corrosion inhibitor injection should be through injection quill to enable injection in the middle of
the stream for uniform dispersion of corrosion inhibitor.

1.0 SPECIFICATIONS OF CORROSION INHIBITOR INJECTOR ASSEMBLY.

Access under pressure Injection/ Sampling Tube can be removed for cleaning while system is under
Pressure.
The corrosion inhibitor shall be injected continuously on line at specified terminals by using 2
retractable corrosion inhibitor injection assembly including TEE-type access fitting.

The corrosion inhibitor injection is through T-type standard Access Fitting system consists of 2 NB with
standard height access fitting, Tee type, flare weld in carbon steel with solid plug assembly in AISI 316
SS fitted with injection tube open type, injection nut, nozzle, valve, nipple in AISI 316SS along with
protective cover, spare, service tools and equipment.

An Access Fitting body with a side Tee through which the fluid (Corrosion inhibitor) transfer takes
place The Tee may be flare welded.

A solid plug assembly inside the fitting body is used to carry an injection nut that has the injection
tube/nozzle assembly .

These open NPT injection tubes assemblies shall be Retractable type and installed in
Access Fitting on pipelines at specified locations for enabling injection of corrosion
inhibitor into main stream for uniform dispersion.

Nipples: Nipples are to be used with the TEE Access Fitting Assembly with the injection system

Shut Off Valves : Shut Off valves are required to cut off the injection flow and maintain
pressure integrity through the Tee when the Solid Plug Assembly is being removed or replaced.
They also used to be control the injection flow rate.
