Delivered lifesaving blood product to all hospitals both locally and regionally within
predetermined and STAT time frames. Direct and oversee department staff. Ensured
department maintained regulatory compliance.
Reduction in vendor transportation cost for STAT deliveries.
Obtained use of volunteer resources and increase volunteer numbers.
Approached volunteer coordinator, brain stormed how best to use volunteers and
company vehicles, what crucial times were STATs at an increased known level and how
to increase the volunteer base.
