Judds Hill MicroCrush for Those Dreaming of Creating Their Own Wine
Nestled amongst the vineyards along Silverado Trail, youll find
Judds Hill, a small, family-owned winery that offers a fun,
personalized and educational experience for those who have always
dreamed of creating their own wine. Now in their third decade of
custom winemaking, Judds Hill MicroCrush has become the popular
choice for grape growers and backyard vineyard owners, as well as
enthusiasts who are looking to share their wine with family and
friends. Businesses throughout the U.S., from investment firms to
steel companies, have also discovered that making wine with Judds
Hill MicroCrush can be a way to create fun, unique marketing
products to promote their company.
What sets Judds Hill apart, is their all-inclusive (grapes to bottle),
small-lot winemaking as little as a barrel. Where most custom
crush facilities require large minimums, often between 5 and 10 tons
of fruit, at Judds Hill all you need is a half-ton to make your own
barrel of wine. Looking to make more than one barrel? Each harvest
Judds Hill reserves several of their variable capacity tanks for those
looking to make larger lots. So whether you are looking to start at one
barrel or 20 Judds Hill can help.
You dont have to own a vineyard to make your own custom wine.
Over the years, Judds Hill has established long-term relationships
with growers around the Napa Valley (and beyond) and is able to
source from a variety of premium vineyards. So whether you are
looking for a Napa Valley Howell Mountain Cab or an Old Vine Lodi
Zin, they have it. Contact Judds Hill to see what will be arriving on
their crushpad this harvest!
Be as involved in the winemaking process as you like. Meet oneon-one with the award-winning winemakers prior to harvest to
discuss your targeted wine style. Then stay involved throughout the
process by sampling and discussing the progress of your wine
during the aging period. When it comes close to bottling time, sit
down for a blending session to create a balanced wine tailored to
your unique palate.
Interested in getting something into bottle sooner? Judds Hill sets

Vineyards and coastal mountains, the views are breathtaking no matter which way you

The Wines
At Napa Cellars, you will enjoy a wide selection of Napa Valley and California wines
including varietals from Napa Cellars, Folie Deux and Mnage Trois. They offer their
Classic Collection, which includes: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot,
Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Napa Cellars also has a tier called the V Collection, these are limited production, subappellation wines from the Napa Valley. The name V Collection represents the first five
vineyards Napa Cellars was founded on. The wines include Napa Cellars St. Helena
Cabernet Sauvignon, Carneros Pinot Noir and Carneros Chardonnay.
They also have the Winemaker Series which includes a Napa Cellars Dyer Vineyard
Syrah Rose, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Most famous is their delicious Classic Chardonnay
and is a must try when you come to spend the day!
A Little History
Napa Cellars was founded in 1968, crafting wines that are widely recognized as the
classic Napa Valley style: ripe, rich and balanced. Self-made man Charlie R. Woods
founded the winery on five and a half acres of prime Oakville soil. In the 1970s, he built a
geodesic dome to store barreled wine, and concentrated on making reds, in particular
Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1996, the winery changed hands a few times before
being purchased by Koerner Rombauer and Rich Frank, when they earned their reputation
for crafting rich, buttery Chardonnaya style that was becoming popular in the United
States at the time. By 2007, Joe Shirley became the winemaker and has continued to build
an impressive portfolio based on a stunning line-up of wines.

Jessup offers wines to their guests that are sold exclusively at the tasting gallery,
online and through their wine club. The wine is not distributed to wholesalers,
wine shops or restaurants. Jessup has excellent Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot
Noir, Zinfandel, Cabernets and Merlot and often several vintages are available for
tasting.
Owned by four families from the health profession, Dan and Becky Blue, Roy
and Cheri Eisiminger, Jim and Kelly Mazzo and Vance and Jana Thompson, their
mission is to create and share life-enriching experiences for their members and
guests, while also giving back to the community through the support of the arts.

sound of live gypsy music or brunch on a magnificent terrace
overlooking unsurpassed views of the Napa Valley.

patrons and all-access passes.
Visit festivalnapavalley.org to purchase tickets and season passes,
and view the full schedule and detailed descriptions.

They not only ship wine, but will ship any of the other Napa
Valley goods youve found along the way, such as olive oil, soaps,
pastries or whatever else you picked up along your travels.
Shipping Tips
Stagecoach Express recommends shipping wine to a commercial
address because deliveries are made earlier in the day, adult signature
is typically required for most deliveries and this also helps prevent
wine from exposure to elements when left outside at a residence.
Cold Packs
Did you buy artisan cheeses, charcuterie or other perishables that
need to be shipped with cold packs? For an additional cost,
Stagecoach Express can ship these items for you (express delivery
required cold packs last only 2-3 days).

stage on July 23. Known for their vibrant stage presence, O.A.R will close the series
on July 30 with a bang.
In addition to the musical performances, food trucks will make their way to the
winery to add to the lively atmosphere of each concert. Participating food vendors
include: Ring of Fire, Villa Corona, Cousins Lobster, Marks the Spot and Bruschetteria.
The vendor lineup will vary slightly from concert to concert.
Tickets are now on sale for the three performances that have been announced.
Over the last 47 years, more than $2 million has been raised to support a number of
Napa Valley-based charitable organizations as a result of the Robert Mondavi Winery
Summer Concert Series. Proceeds from ticket sales this year will directly benefit Napa
Valley music programs to carry on this tradition.
Ticket prices vary by performance. Doors open at 5 p.m. with performances
beginning at 7 p.m. at the Robert Mondavi Winery, 7801 St. Helena Highway in
Oakville, Napa Valley. For additional information and to purchase tickets, including
General Admission, Reserve Patio, Reserve Lawn and Dinner seats, visit

stated John Truchard. Our wines are made in the tradition of great
California and Napa Valley winemaking starting with quality fruit
and teasing out the best characteristics of classic varietals from grapeto-bottle. Its the way both Michele and I learned from our families,
and how we do things today as our own family-run business.
The best things to pair with our wines is the people you love,
added Michele Truchard. We enjoy making these wines and opening
JaM Cellars in downtown Napa gives us the opportunity to have even

In its 26th year, the Rodney Strong Summer Concert series continues to
surprise and delight Northern California music fans with a lineup more
exciting and diverse than ever.
Taking place in one of the most beautiful settings in wine country,
surrounded by acres of beautiful vineyards, guests will be treated to a lineup
of five shows representing many musical genres and intimate, unforgettable
concert experiences. Rodney Strong wines, non-alcoholic beverages and an
array of delectable fare will be available.
The B-52s, recognized as the Worlds Greatest Party Band, play on
September 17th and top off a lineup of acclaimed musical artists, including
Boney James and Special Guest Morgan James on June 18th; Motown
legend Smokey Robinson on July 23rd; Dave Koz and David Sanborn
Side By Side on August 13th; and one of Americas greatest rock n roll
bands, Huey Lewis and The News on August 21st.
Concert tickets are available at www.rodneystrongconcertseries.com and
1-800-514-3849, or in person at the Rodney Strong Tasting Room from
10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily.
