BISHOP PETER writes It was a great joy for me to concelebrate the Confirmation Mass with the
Parish last Tuesday. Congratulations to everyone involved. The young people were great, and
that is a tribute to you all.
PARISH FINANCES Weekend 18th 19th June : Loose 667.42. Envelopes 211., Standing
Orders 446, Total 1,324.42. The retiring collection for the Day for Life amounted to 416.
Many thanks for your generosity. THIS weekend there will be a retiring collection for Peters
Pence.
SS PETER & PAUL next Wednesday, 29th June is the Feast of SS Peter & Paul and is a
Holyday of Obligation. Mass times are as follows : 9.30am at St Andrews and 7.30pm at Our
Lady of Peace.
ST GILBERTS Next Sunday at 9.00am Mass at St Gilberts only, Fr Donie OConnor will
speak on behalf of APF Mill Hill and their Missionary work. This Thank You and appeal is
NOT for money but for parishioners to become members and take a Red Mission Box. Fr Donie
will be speaking at Our Lady of Peace and St Andrews on the weekend of 30th 31st July.
RED BOXES First half-yearly collection of APF/MH red boxes is now taking place. New boxes
for the second half of the year are being prepared. Kindly bring your full box to Mass, where
possible, ensuring it is left in safe hands, and collect the replacement. Thank you.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR BURNHAM LIGHTHOUSE! Lighthouse Burnham will run from
25 - 29th July and they are desperately short of helpers, not just to cope with hundreds of
children already signed up, but with the ones that will register between now and July, and in
particular for adults aged 16+. If you would like to volunteer as a helper please visit the link at
www.lighthouseadmin.org and sign up for Lighthouse at BURNHAM.

CHURCH CLEANING Saturday, 2nd July at 8.30am. Please try and spare an hour to help.
CATHOLIC MIRACLE RALLY with Cor et Lumen Christi Community on Saturday 2nd Sunday
3rd July at Friends Meeting House, Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ. The open Miracle Healing
Service will be at 6pm on Saturday 2nd. See flyers at the church entrance.
CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE The next meeting of the Catholic Women's League will be their
annual fish and chip supper to be held at 6.30pm on Monday, 4th July at St Andrew's. Please join
us for the evening if you wish - you do not need to be a member. We will take orders at 6.30pm..
If the weather is warm and dry we will meet in the garden.
NATIONAL BOARD OF CATHOLIC WOMEN Year of Mercy. Inspiration, reflection and
discussion for Catholic Women. Gods Steadfast Love in all the messiness of our lives. Led by
Kate Stogdon, Cenacle Sister, Retreat-Giver, Spiritual Director Teacher of Courses in Spirituality
and Theology. On Saturday, 9th July, at St Teresas, Warwick Road, Beaconsfield, HP9 2PL,
from 10.30am3.00pm. Please bring a packed lunch. Organised by the Diocesan Branch of the

HCPT GROUP are holding a dance on 9th July at Slough Irish Club, in aid of the Childrens
Easter Pilgrimage 2017. Kay Gatt has tickets priced 5 Please try and support the vital work the
group do to enable children with special needs to travel to Lourdes
SPIRIT AND LIGHT WORSHIP evening at St Andrews on Friday, 15th July at 8.00pm. These
evenings are led by Fr Andy, and involve moving praise and worship in the Presence of the
Blessed Sacrament, together with gentle prayer ministry where we invite the Holy Spirit to come
and bless us. All welcome, especially those who desire the Lord's healing touch. Please speak
to Fr Andy if you would like any more information.

BBQ on 30th July from 4.00pm to 10.00pm at ST ANDREW'S SHARED CHURCH. ALL ARE
VERY WELCOME - THE MORE THE MERRIER AND THE MORE MONEY WE WILL RAISE.
The proceeds of this event will be shared equally between Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew's.
Tickets will be 10, children over 12 5, under 12 free. These will be on sale at all Masses. The
ticket price will include the following: BBQ and music from our resident DJ Stephen Barker.
There will be Irish Bingo with a cash prize, a Licensed bar, and
a raffle - if you would like to donate a prize for the raffle please leave in the Presbytery or the
Sacristy for Yvonne, or give donations to Danny, Brendan or Fr Andy at St Andrews.
HANDING IT ON: NURTURING A NEW GENERATION OF LITURGICAL MUSICIANS 29th 31st July High Leigh, Hoddesdon, Herts. Come for the weekend, a full programme of workshops
and worship, or come for the day on Saturday, 30th July, only 10 for 18-25 year olds. Leaders
include Tom Daggett, Chris Walker, Frances Novillo and Bryony Davis Run by the National
