INTRODUCTION!
This short booklet is an introduction to the concept of Spatial Dimensions,
the Four Dimension space and how it is described and portrayed in the
Bible. The principles are explained in a easy to understand manner that
people with very little mathematics or geometry knowledge could
understand.
The Four Dimension space concept is then applied to the verse 18 of the
third chapter of the Epistle to the Ephesians to demonstrate that the Love
of Christ is the Cross.
The field of Mathematics will ultimately prove to be a valuable tool in
solving with critical thinking many of the perplexing problems connected
with our Christian faith.
The only motive of the authors in writing this booklet is their sincere desire
to bring some light on some of the questions connected with our Christian
walk.
The authors have simplified as much as it is possible keeping in mind that
IT IS NOT COMPLICATED that is the motto of their video series on
iktusNETlive: www.iktusnetlive.com.
Unless otherwise mentioned the Bible verses are from the New King James
version. Verses are in italic in the text and some key sections to be
emphasized are in bold characters.

THE NUMBER 4!
The Number 4 & Our Creation!
4 Directions on the earth (north, south, east, and west).
4 Seasons (summer, autumn, winter, and spring).
4 Things that make up the universe (time, energy, space, and matter).
4 Major provisions for man (earth, air, fire, and water).
4 Divisions of the day (morning, noon, evening, and midnight).

Revelation 7:1
1 After these things I saw 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the
earth, holding the 4 winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow
on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

Hebrews 2:4
4. God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with
various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own
will?
God's 4-fold witness in the earth: three are impersonal (signs,
wonders, and miracles), and one personal (the gifts of the Holy
Spirit).
Revelation 21: 16-17
16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its
breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand
furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.
17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits,
according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
The New Jerusalem is laid out as a CUBE and with its walls it is
indeed in a 4 Dimension space.

SPACIAL DIMENSIONS!
Lets first consider SPACES of various dimensions you are all familiar with:
Zero-Dimension: a dot
1 Dimension space: a line (a line is made of dots).
2 Dimensions space: a surface (a surface is made of lines).
3 Dimensions space: a volume (a volume is made of surfaces).

Salvador Dali, the Spanish painter, captured the infinite love of God in his
work, "Crucifixion." In that famous work, Dali showed Christ on an unfolded
hypercube, ascending. If unfolded again, the shadow of the 3D hypercube
hovering over the tiles below becomes a 2D representation of the tiles on
the ground. Dali knew the mathematical principles behind his work and was
purposeful in showing Christ as Master over four dimensions, and three,
and two (See the painting next page).

Higher Dimensions!
Advanced physics such as string theory, etc. considers higher dimensions.
M-theory is an extension of string theory in which 11 Dimensions of spacetime are identified. IT IS VERY COMPLICATED and will not be presented
or discussed in this booklet.

A cannot do it because of the circle in which B is. A cannot cross the line
formed by the circle.
Now assume that there is a person C (represented by an eye below) in the
3 Dimension space that includes the Flatland. Lets call C a Spacelander.
C has a birds eye-view of the situation from the 3 Dimension space where
he/she is living. A and B cannot see C since they are Flatlanders and the 3
Dimension space has no meaning for them; they do not understand height.

Page 13

Now C who is a Spacelander can use his/her hand to move A across the
circle by lifting it in the 3 Dimension space, move it over the circle and drop
it back inside the circle beside B in the Flatland. A miracle of sort for the
Flatlanders.

The cross sections of the cone made by the plane of Flatland will be circles
(as AB). The Flatlanders living in the plane would see at first only a point
as the apex of the cone entered their plane, then they would see a circle
gradually increasing to the size of the base of the cone, when suddenly
every trace of the cone would vanish. The Flatlanders would have no
conception whatever of the cone as we know it, indeed, they would not
suspect that the two-dimensional object (circle) which they had seen had
anything to do with a three-dimensional solid at all, even if they had an
inkling of the existence of our space.
The phenomenon would appear to them as the creation of a new twodimensional body (circle) which continued to grow larger and larger and
then suddenly vanished. The alpha and omega of this phenomenon would
be deep mysteries to them, just as birth and death are to us.
The point to consider is as follows from the Book THE FOURTH
DIMENSION AND THE BIBLE by William Anthony Granville, Ph.D., LL.D
published in 1922:
In like manner it may be that each one of us is in reality a four-(or higher-)
dimensional being, our personality (as we are known to ourselves and
others) being the section of our real, our higher self, made by the threedimensional space of our experience. Like the cone passing thru Flatland, we
arrive into this three-dimensional world from some unknown shore, i.e., are
born; we grow up thru childhood, youth, middle age, old age ; we die, and
our souls, our real, our higher selves, pass into the great unknown hereafter.
Page 15

Before the cylinder reaches the plane, Flatlanders living in that plane would
know absolutely nothing about it, the cylinder would be non-existent as far
as they are concerned. The instant the lower base of the cylinder coincided
with the plane, the circle CD, the section of the cylinder made by the plane,
would suddenly appear before the astonished Flatlanders, coming apparently
out of nowhere.
To them this phenomenon would be the creation of a circle (two-dimensional
body) out of nothing. They could no more account for this miracle than we
can account for the creation of our material (three-dimensional) universe out
of nothing.
During the time the cylinder is passing thru their plane the Flatlanders would
behold the circular sections made by the plane as a continuing entity, a
circle.
Then the instant the cylinder passed out of the plane the circle would
suddenly vanish, apparently into nowhere. To the Flatlanders the circle
would cease to exist, where there had been something before there was now
nothing.

Page 16
! of 31
!
Continuing this line of reasoning one step further we may think of our
material universe as the section of a higher-dimensional body (aggregate)
made by our space of three dimensions. Just as the circle, in what has gone
before, was a two-dimensional body created by the entrance of a cylinder
(three-dimensional body) into two-dimensional space (Flatland) so we may
conceive of our material universe as being created by the entrance of a
higher-dimensional body (aggregate) into our three-dimensional space.
As human beings restricted to the knowledge and experiences of a threedimensional space we can have no knowledge of how this can be brought
about or understand the real nature of the higher-dimensional body
(aggregate) in question. All that we can say is that where there was nothing
before we now behold our material universe, that is, our material universe
was created out of nothing.
The Flatlanders might well record it in their annals as the end of the circle.
And so to us (three dimensional beings) the end, the total annihilation, of our
material three-dimensional universe may be considered as coming to pass
when the higher-dimensional (transcendent) configuration to which we have
referred passes out of our three-dimensional space. Numerous Bible
passages indicate unmistakably that not only did our universe have a
beginning (was created) but that it will also in the fullness of time have an
end

Before the cone reaches any part of the plane,as in the position fig. (a), the
cone is non-existent to the Flatlanders living in the plane. The instant the
apex of the cone enters the plane (fig. b), the point C (the section of the cone
made by the plane) will appear to the Flatlanders in that plane coming
apparently from nowhere. To them it will be the creation of a point out of
nothing. Then as the cone continues to move thru the plane this section
(point) will be seen to develop into a circle (as DE) with a continually
increasing radius. In other words, the Flatlanders would behold the evolution
of a point into a circle. And this evolutionary process would continue until
the circular section has grown into the circle FG, the base of the cone. As
the cone passes out of the plane the circle will vanish, apparently into
nowhere. A Flatlander living in the plane AB and observing all that had
taken place might well describe it all as the creation, the development by
evolution, and the annihilation of a circle; and this without having any
conception whatever of the existence of the cone itself or its relation to the
phenomenon he had witnessed.

A and B are two Spacelanders living in Spaceland. In other words they are
two people living in our familiar 3 Dimension world.
Now B is inside a room represented by a cube:

Page 19

A will try to go where B is, but cannot do it because the room has no
access (door, window, etc).
Now assume that there is the Spacelander C (represented by an eye) in
the 4 Dimension space that includes the 3 Dimension Space.
C has a birds eye-view of the situation in the 3 Dimension space from his/
her vantage point in the 4 Dimension space.
!
Now the Spacelander C can use his/her 3 Dimensional hand to move A
inside the room (Cube) by lifting it in the 4 Dimension space, move it over
the cube and drop it back inside the cube beside B in our 3 Dimension
Space. This will be done with neither A or B seing C doing the move.

THE 4 DIMENSION SPACE IN THE BIBLE!
Dimensions 1, 2, 3 are "physical" as well are higher dimensions such as 8
to 9 that are necessary to describe nuclear physics up to the super string
theory (11 dimensions).
In that regard the 4 Dimension space is not special, it is also "physical".
The 4 Dimension space and higher dimensions spaces are most likely
inhabited by beings (e.g. God, Angels, Jesus, etc) we cannot see from the
3 Dimensions space in which we live. Because these beings are invisible to
us and are spiritual", the 4 Dimension space can be called spiritual. It is,
however, a physical space of higher order where spirits can dwell and
move. These beings or spirits could decide to unfold themselves from
their 4 Dimension space to our 3 Dimension space. At that point their 3
Dimensional representations become then visible to us.
In Hebrews 13 we can read in verse 2:
2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have
unwittingly entertained angels.
There are many passages in the Bible that can be interpreted to prove the
existence of higher dimensions. Disappearances and appearances can be
explained by the escape from our 3 Dimension world into a 4 Dimension
world and back.
A man (three-dimensional being) who has been translated from our space
into a higher-dimensional space will remain invisible to earthly beings until
he returns again to our space. Lets look at some passages of the Bible.
Genesis 5:24
24 And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him

Page 23

!
Hebrews 11:5
5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, and
was not found, because God had taken him; for before he was taken
he had this testimony, that he pleased
Enoch was probably translated from the 3 Dimension space to the 4
Dimension space or higher space.
The Bible also contains examples of appearances which also can be
explained with the use of the 4 Dimension space.
Twice, Jesus entered the room of the disciples without using a door.
Entering a room through its walls might only be possible via the 4
Dimension space:
John 20: 19
19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for
fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to
them, Peace be with you.
John 20: 26
26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas
with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst,
and said, Peace to you!
Another example of translation, only possible in the 4 Dimension space, is
contained in Acts 8: 39-40
39 Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord
caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he
went on his way rejoicing.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached
in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

LOVE OF GOD & LOVE OF CHRIST!
Both the terms "Love of God" and "Love of Christ" appear in the New
Testament.
Love Of God!
Love is a key attribute of God in Christianity, and 1 John 4:8 states:
8 "God is love."
Romans 8:35
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or
distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:39
39 Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The love of the Father for his Son (Jesus Christ) is expressed in Matthew
3:17
17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, This is My
beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased
Love is a key attribute of God, 1 John 4:16 states that
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us.
God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in
him.
In the New Testament, God's Love for humanity or the world is expressed
in Greek as agape ().
!
___________________________________________________________
Page 25
! of 31
!
The same Greek word agape is used also of the love of Christians for one
another and for other human beings, as in 1 Thessalonians 3:12
12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one
another and to all, just as we do to you,
The corresponding verb agap () is used not only of God's love and
of the mutual love of Christians, but also of Christians' love for God, as in 1
John 4:21:
21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves
God must love his brother also.
Love Of Christ!
The Love of Christ is a central element of Christian belief. It refers both to
the love of Jesus Christ for humanity, and to the love of Christians for
Christ.
The theme of love is the key element of the Apostle John writings. In the
Gospel of John, the passage of the Good Shepherd (John 10:1-21)
symbolizes the sacrifice of Jesus based on his love. In that gospel, love for
Christ results in the following of his commandments, John 14:23 stating:
23 Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will
keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him
and make Our home with him.
In 1 John 4:19, the reflexive nature of this love is highlighted:
19 We love Him[a] because He first loved us.
This verse is expressing the origin of the love as a mirroring of Christ's
love. Towards the end of the Last Supper, Jesus gives his disciples "a new
commandment.
John 13: 34-35
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as
I have loved you, that you also love one another.
___________________________________________________________
Page 26
! of 31
!
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for
one another.
The Love of Christ is also a motif in the Letters of Paul. The basic theme of
the Epistle to the Ephesians is that of God the Father initiating the work of
salvation through Christ who willingly sacrifices himself based on his love
and obedience to the Father.
The discussion of the love expressed by Christ throughout the New
Testament is part of the overall pattern of the outpouring of love from a
merciful God and Christ's participation in it.
In John 14:31, Jesus explains that his sacrificial act was performed so
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the
Father gave Me commandment, so I do. Arise, let us go from here.
Page 27
! of 31
!
Matthew 16:15-16
15 But what about you? he asked. Who do you say I am?
16 Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living
God.
John 1: 1-5 and 50-51
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and
the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was
made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not
comprehend it.
Miracles!
The Bible mentions a great number of miracles performed by Jesus and
also by the Apostle, they represent the Love of Christ in action. Some
miracles involved new body parts, removing of cancers or other kind of
tumors.
___________________________________________________________
Page 28
! of 31
!
During his earthly ministry, Jesus Christ touched and transformed countless
lives. The four Gospels record at least 37 miracles of Jesus, only a small
portion of the multitudes of people who were made whole by our Savior.
The closing verse of John's Gospel says in Chapter 21:
25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they
were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could
not contain the books that would be written. Amen.
A number of the miracles during Jesus time and today are creative miracles
that can be somewhat explained by the 4 Dimension space. Also, healing
of internal organs without opening the body can also be explained in the 4
Dimension realm, where a 4 Dimension hand can for example extract,
without opening the body, a malignant tumor.
