We refer to the matter above wherein we act for Wong Chee Keong of Just Work Entertainment
Sdn Bhd.
We have been instructed by our Client that via your postings on Facebook and your statements to 2
chinese daily newspapers, you have made, issued and/or published defamatory statements
constituting libel in the following:(1)

Unexpectedly, James Wong sold the copyright to TV2 early this year whereas the
representative from New Pro Star sold the distribution right to another distributor
coincidentally. It ended up as a double sell. New Pro Star is even caught in a Court suit
due to this situation and was sued for breach of contract and the distributor demanded for
compensation.
Candy Cheah posted in her FB and pointed out that James Wong betrayed them and he is
such a heartless and selfish person which caused New Pro Star to be caught in the Court
suit.

(All the above statements are collectively referred to as the defamatory statements)
The defamatory statements abovementioned in their plain and ordinary meaning and/or innuendo or
when they are read as a whole, means or were understood to mean the following:(1)

that our Client is a person of bad character and backstabs his friends and partners;

(2)

that our Client is an ungrateful and immoral person;

(3)

that our Client has unreasonably withheld information on the sale of the movie to TV2 from
New Pro Star, his joint venture partner, thus causing New Pro Star to breach their obligation
in their contract with another distributor;

(4)

that our Client has ignored his obligations under the agreement between Just Work
Entertainment Sdn Bhd and New Pro Star Sdn Bhd and conducted the sale of the movie
with bad intentions towards his joint venture partner New Pro Star.

Our Client has instructed that the defamatory statements were highly inaccurate, untrue and
unjustifiable, hence, the said statements injured and disparaged our Clients reputation. In
particular, our Client states below :-
