Window's Updates
are installed and
up-to-date on PC
or Laptop

Speak to your
General Manager
to apply to I.T. for
the correct
permissions

SDP3 Service
Certificate installed
and up-to-date on
PC or Laptop

SDP3 Latest
version is installed
as per SAIL

Install SDP3
Service certificate
at SAIL/TIL/SDP3

Download the
latest version from
SAIL/TIL/SDP3
and install onto PC
or Laptop

PC or Laptop is
connected to the
Scania Secured
network
(not Wi-Fi Spark)

PC or Laptop is
plugged into the
mains and/or fully
charged

Vehicle Batteries
are fully Charged
(check on SDP3
that batteries are
status GREEN)

FINISH

Vehicle Air
Pressure is fully
Charged

Road-test the
vehicle and recheck for any
generated fault
codes

Turn off Ignition for

30 Seconds, then
clear any
generated fault
codes

Open ECU
Updates in SDP3,
and perform any
outstanding
Software updates

Turn off Ignition for

30 secs, re-start
SDP3 and re-try
the Software
Update

Take Screen
dump, SVI & Log
Files, Submit a
FRAS HD
Question

Check if EMS ecu

has been
manipulated or
"chipped" using
SDP3

Inform your
General Manager

Check Vehicle has

NO Active fault
codes before
proceeding

Inform the
Customer and
Repair any Active
faults before
proceeding

Take an "SVI" file

from the vehicle
and upload into
Operational
Analysis
