Designing a Lesson Part: C

July 3, 2016
Creating a Student Assignment
Introduction: Part C of designing a lesson evaluates if the student has met all objectives
addressed in part A and B. This will be measured by using the interview and paper
writing evaluation methods.
Overview: The student assignment will first include an interview with a complementary
or alternative provider, or someone who uses any of the discussed therapies. The student
will write their own interview questions as well as ask some provided questions. When
the interview is complete a 2-3 page, double spaced, APA format paper about which
complementary or alternative therapy the provider, or person participates in that they
interviewed. By choosing the interview method students will be speaking directly with a
practitioner or user, listening, learning, and interacting about what complementary or
alternative medicine they practice or use. This method is more interactive where the
student will be more likely to remember the experience. This would align with my beliefs
of the constructivist teaching theory.
