Throughout Philippine history, there have been many cases of human rights
violation. Individuals, groups, and governments have attempted to end many of
these violations although they have not always been successful.
Task: Cite ONE EXAMPLE of a case where human rights have been denied to an
individual or groups of people. In your essay, you should:
a. Describe how the human rights of that individual or group were denied
b. Discuss an action taken by the government to address the issue on human
rights violations.

C.2 TASK: The Commission on Human Rights launched a campaign to promote


awareness on the childrens rights. Part of the campaign is to conduct a postermaking contest for high school students. As the representative of DLSZ, you are
tasked to CREATE A POSTER that will promote the rights of children.
Representatives from CHR and the city government of Muntinlupa will judge the
posters based on content and relevance to the theme.
