Do you walk in Faith?

To one who has faith, no explanation is

necessary. To one without faith, no
explanation is possible.
Saint Thomas Aquinas

The just shall live by faith, the Bible says.

We all agree. But sometimes, the life of faith
seems like a glass-bottom bridge (the famous
Skywalk Bridge in the Grand Canyon National
Park for instance.)

Were terrified of all the dangers we see. We

have trouble grasping onto the cables (Gods
word) for comfort (prayer) to hear Gods ways.
Remember when Jesus called the
disciple Peter to walk by faith? He stepped out
of the boat, and for a while, he was fine. But
when he looked down, fear took over, and he
began to sink.
If youre going to walk across a glassbottom bridge, you must have faith in the
designer and builder. If you dont, you arent
going to walk across.
We need to trust the Designer and
Builder, Jesus is the Divine Architect. What he
builds will endure. What he calls us to do, he
will give us the power to accomplish.
Lord Jesus, help me to keep my eyes on you
as I walk my life of faith.
In your precious name, I pray, Amen.
