Polycom LLC exports annually 400 tons of beef and meat products to Russia preparing from Khovd, GoviAltai, Bayankhongor, Khuvsgul, Bulgan, Khentii, Sukhbaatar and Dornod provinces.

Since 1990, total livestock have increased 2 times,

goats increased 4 times, sheep increased by 50%,
cattle increased by 21.4%, horses increased by 30%,
camels decreased by 40%

There are 212.8 thousand households which has

livestock. 13.1% of those own more than 501
livestock, 49.3% of those have 101-500 livestock,
37.6% of those have less than 100 livestock
