20. Now Id like to describe the four candidates running in the Republican primary
for Governor. For whom, out of candidates A,B,C and D, would you be most
likely to vote for? Candidate A: Successful conservative small business owner,
helped bring at least 200,000 new jobs in and around New York State, is for
smaller government and is considered a social conservative. Candidate B:
Former Democrat who supported Barack Obama's campaign for President and
has called the federal stimulus plan "Manna from Heaven." As Suffolk County
Executive he raised school and property taxes, and is a strong supporter of gun
control, abortion rights, and gay marriage. Candidate C: Is a former
Congressman who has been out of office for over ten years. He served as a
lobbyist for banks bailed out by the federal government. After the taxpayer-
funded bailout, he accepted a bonus of over one million dollars. He is
supported by former Governor George Pataki and is a supporter of gun control,
abortion rights and gay marriage. Candidate D: Is a wealthy real estate
developer from Buffalo. He has made most of his money by leasing buildings
he owns to the state of New York. He has picked up some support among the
tea party movement in New York, but has been criticized for making racist and
pornographic remarks during the campaign. If the election were held today for
