Daniel S. Pea Sr. (born August 10, 1945), also known as

Dan Pena, is an American businessman and highperformance business coach, born in Jacksonville, Florida.

Today, he resides at Guthrie Castle in Scotland[1] and in

Asia-Pacic.
Pea is prominent for his seven-day Castle Seminar on
Quantum Leap Advantage (QLA) Methodology and is
regarded as the 50 billion dollar man.[2] He is the author of a
popular book, Your First Hundred Million, which can be
purchased for as high as $9,950 on Amazon[3] and which has
been translated into Romanian.

Biography
After service in the US Army in which he left as an ofcer in
1969,[4] he received a BS degree in Business Administration
from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in
1971.
Upon leaving college, he worked in real estate, and then
joined Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis and subsequently
Bear Stearns. After that, he was President and CEO of
Kennedy Industries Inc. and then Chairman of JPK
Industries, Inc.
In 1982, he founded Great Western Resources Inc. (GWRI)

with $820,[5] a Houston-based natural resource company.

When he left the company in 1992, the company had a public
market capitalization of over 300 million british pounds/
$450 million dollars. Pea owned around 10 percent shares of GWRI when he left in 1992. He was ousted by
the company's board of directors, which he later sued and won $4.3 million in actual damages for refusing to
pay his employment contract.[6]

In 2003, after nearly twenty years of work, Pea made Guthrie Castle available for public bookings.[7] The
grounds also contain a golf course which Pea wanted to be very difcult to play.[8]
Pea is founder and Chairman of The Guthrie Group,[9] an investment consortium, incorporated on the Channel
Islands in 2002 and named after Guthrie Castle in Scotland.
Pea also has business interests in the Philippines, where he is Founder and Chairman of iZone
Technologies.[10]
In 2009, an alleged fraud was charged against one of his companies in India, but the case was dropped, and his
company was cleared of all charges. Cyber crime police asked the court to treat it as mistake of facts.[11]

Owner Award;[23] Finalist for the 1997 Telly Awards for his talk called "Quantum Leap Advantage";[24] the
1994 John Regan Award for Excellence by the Center of Entrepreneurial Management; the American
International Real Estate Expo and Conference AIREEC 2008,Man of the Year Award and the 2008 AIREEC
Inspirational Leadership Award.[25]

In 1983, Pulitzer Prizewinning journalist Al Martinez[26] portrayed

Dan Pena in the Los Angeles Times.[27] In said article, Al Martinez
describes Pea as "already a wealthy oil broker" with over $50 million
revenues in just one year, attempting to buy his own oil renery.[28] He
has also been written about in Investor's Business Daily,[29] Financial

Times,[30] The Sunday Telegraph,[31] The National Law Journal,[32] Houston Chronicle,[33] Houston Business
Journal, Texas Lawyer,[34] Success Now Magazine,[35] and Hispanic Business Magazine.[36]
In April 2014, he was a featured guest on London Real TV.[37]

Dan Pena also has his own series of podcasts called The Quantum Leap Advantage which features his QLA

In 1997, he self-published the autobiographical book Build Your Own Guthrie through a company controlled by
him, Great Wisdom Publishing, which had been a subsidiary of International Media Holdings, Inc. (IMH,
formerly Success Development International, SDI), where he was a majority shareholder.[40]
In 1999, the British mail-order entrepreneur Stuart Goldsmith, through his company Medina Ltd, published a
revised edition of that book under the title Your First 100 Million, which they offered for 277.[41] The Second
Edition of Your First Hundred Million has been released in July 2009 selling at $197.00 USD.[42]
In April 2014, Dan Pena continued to share his knowledge by publishing Dan Penas $50 Billion QLA
eBook,[43] a free eBook, wherein he shows how he and his mentees and devotees created $50 Billion in equity
and value, since 1993.
He also published a special edition of his book Your First Hundred Million in the Romanian language in
dedication to his many loyal followers from Romania. This new version of the book and other free content can
be downloaded from his Web site.[44]
