PRESENTATION:
A: Good morning classmates I have the proud of present one of the best
Peruvian Business that is operating in 6 countries such us Peru (Lima), Chile
( Santiafo de Chile), Colombia (Bogota), Venezuela (Caracas), Mexico
(Mexico DF) and Spain (Madrid).
C: Thats right Alejandro, Its name is Astrid and Gaston. This is a wellknown restaurant worldwide whose owner is the famous peruvian chef
Gaston Acurio, who many years ago started from scratch running his first
restaurant here in Lima. Now A&G restaurants are considered one of the top
best in through Latin America.
A: Well; I remember for those years the peruvian economy was doing really
well and many chefs had several opportunities for working abroad. That is
why Gaston and Astrid, as a mobile couple, decided to migrate to other
countries in order to provide people with traditional peruvian dishes. They
might have worked very hard to set up their restaurants.
C: I totally agree with you Alexander. I also believe that Gastons current
wife Astrid Gutsche played an important role in his success. She had lived
in German before she met him, and soon after that, they got married. Her
specialty are desserts.
A: I pretty sure that all their hard work was worth it at the end. Nowadays,
everybody knows about Gaston acurio. He is an international chef, a writer
and a businessman, In addition, he is really famous due to the fact that he
promotes the peruvian gastronomic. And He has showed the variety of our
food to the world.
C: As most of us know, He had been study laws for two years in the
Universty Complutense of Madrid before He enrolled secretely to Catering
College of Madrid . After a couple of years He started studying at Cordon
Bleu in Paris.
A: That decisin was very risky because his parents didnt want him study
cooking. At that moment there were only two institute where the Young
peruvian people could study cooking neverthelles Today around 80 thousand
of them study that.
