OVERVIEW
This lesson discusses watershed. The students helps to realize of what factors those affect the
amount of water in watershed and cited the importance of water resources in our environments.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
At the end of the period, the students must have:
1. Explained Watersheds
2. Discussed the factors that affect the water in watershed
3. Cited and appreciated the importance of Water Resources in environments

Watershed is the area of land where all of
the water that is under it or drains off of it
goes into the same place.
Watershed is the area of land that catches
rain and snow and drains or seeps into a
marsh, stream, river, lake or ground water.
Watershed come in all shapes and sizes.
The factors that affect the water in
watersheds are slope of the area, amount of
the rainfall, kind of soil, vegetation cover.
