Our Philosophy
Each child is
competent,
capable and unique.
We believe in the child. Building
positive self-concept is vital to the
childs development. By helping to
foster self-esteem, we help him
grow to be a competent and
creative person.

HISTORY
In 1995, two ardent
educators decided to establish
a preparatory school, the
Norizt Learning Center &
Theater Academy. Their shared
love
for
education
and
teaching results from and to a
sincere love for children. Mrs.
Rizalina
Calderon,
the
founding Directress who has
taught professionally as a
public high school teacher for
10 years, a cum laude
Education
graduate
and
Masters in Linguistics
from
Philippine
Normal College, a
former stage director and actress,
a scriptwriter envisioned on
putting up a school that has
actualized
her
contribution,
expertise, talents and energies in
the academics and theatre arts.
Sharing her vision is husband
Noli Calderon, a UP Education
cum laude graduate who has
taught in private schools, who
also believed in a sound basic
pre-school education for children
in the community of Tandang
Sora, Q.C.
It was in 2004 that the
school changed its name to St.
Mark's
Child
Development
Center, Inc as the reply to the
parents request for continuity of
their children's education with
the imple-mentation
of the
Elementary Education Program
(Grades 1 to 6). The Grades 7 &
8 courses were offered in 2015.
By 2017, Grades 9 & 10 will push
through.
