Underwater hockey - can you imagine that? if you can, then you have a
good idea of what octopush is. Octopush
is a British sport in which players use a
short hockey stick to hit a squid. A squid is
a disk somewhat like a hockey puck. The
players try to push the squid along the
bottom of the pool. At each end of the pool
is a goal, called a gulley.
Each team tries to score points by hitting
the squid into the other team's a gulley.
The game is played for close to an hour, at
which time the team with the most points
wins.
Equipment: Swimwear, Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Stick, Disk, Glove.
