Vice President's annual report

It has been a great experience assume the position of vice president of SME
UNAP Student Chapter in which my participation as a member had
enhancement.
During the period, many objectives had to meet in terms of conducting courses,
participation in conferences, technical visits to different mining units as well as
social activities in which to participate in the organization so that these
objectives have useful results for members student chapter.
The facts which had to participate:
First meetings with all members in order to make our annual planning to agree
on key issues to be undertaken as soon as possible which was in fact the
course of technical English with specialized teaching in which they had to make
an organization to it is carried out. The main problems were had as to the time
and number of participants and it was not an obstacle to be carried out the
course because in the end we reached a good agreement.
After the completion of the course of optimizing a pit with Q-pit in which we had
as a speaker at a great specialist engineer on the issue is more a graduate who
takes up the name of the faculty of mining engineering at the National University
-Puno Altiplano. The experience of this course teach the directive united and
working together we can achieve great goals, because it will be held the course
had to advertise, to benefit many who are interested in the field.
Also involved in organizing the technical visit to the mining unit Antapacay unit
of Glencore which the beneficiaries and myself benefited us greatly in knowing
how the process of exploitation, hauling, crushing minerals extracted in given
the mine. To make the visit a summary presentations which underpin them at a
meeting acordad before the trip so that we all have minimum knowledge in
theory to know where we are so going. So was the interest of participants for
such management was held to make groups to perform the procedures as
obtaining health insurance that mining unit demanded as a condition, another
was the transport for that were a few small problems but eventually solved by
the insistence by the paperwork was done.
Participation in the Competition of Design and Planning of Mines for Chapter
Student SME Peru in PERUMIN-32 mining convention event, such participation
had good and bad lessons, one of the bad was that we did not get the results
we expected and this teaches us that a second chance must correct all the
mistakes we made in the first contest, personally I received constructive
criticism of the juries responsible for evaluating the competition that these teach
me to beat.
Also we do the course Public Speaking and Leadership in conjunction with the
Campus Ministry at the University because it is a key point at which we must be
prepared to handle words and know how to guide groups of people with good
leadership.

I am grateful to me, my parents, my colleagues, consultant, teachers and all

who were involved to do all this and apart mentioning where the other events
we do. I hope these beginnings are as good first steps to my colleagues who
will take the following steps and wish them many successes as well as we had.
