MINI PROJECT: EMD4M3A
Topic: Household Product You are required to submit a report on a mini project. The report is about min. 20 pages, font 11 in Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing and justify. Submit with tape binding (minimum requirement) together with soft copy of your presentation slides, soft copy of your report and all the drawing files. Examples of the products are washer machine: auto / twin-tub, standing fan, telephone, air-conditioning, television, radio, table clock etc. The selection is first-come-first serve basis. You may do the selection during the discussion in class after the mid-term break. The design must be in real-size measurement. The minimum numbers of parts per product are 20 parts. The report should have all the information below: 1. Cover (with suitable title) 2. Table of content 3. Distribution of work among members 4. Introduction 5. Scope 6. Objective 7. CAD a. Explain the product and parts drawn b. Must follow the drawing standard by having the border and the details required c. Drawings need to be included: i. The sketch of your product (complete assembly drawing) in isometric ii. Exploded drawing (isometric) iii. Assembly drawing

8. CAE: a. Explain on the analysis made (which part, what is being analysed-stress, strain, fluid flow, etc.) b. Explain on the parameter used (entered) during the analysis (material, properties, load, etc.) 9. CAM a. Explain on the part which was chosen to be simulated (the part @ mould of the part) b.
