This is a social media website that is the same as twitter where the class
can interact, talk to each other about upcoming work, and the teacher
can update the students online about upcoming assignments, quizzes,
and tests. Teachers can create a class code so when registering students
do not have to have an email to sign up.
Since many older kids know how to work twitter, the teacher can have
them work on an assignment together and have group discussion about
linked websites. Students can use the website for a peer review system
when writing papers getting feedback from others than the teacher.
Students can use the website during class and help break up instruction
so they are not just sitting listening to a lecture.
Pros:
A social media type website for the kids to use, which is also easy to use
since its set up like twitter
You can also add parents to the page so they can see updates
You can have group discussion online
The teacher can link websites, pictures, and documents
Cons:
If the student does not have access to the internet then they can not see
the information
If the student does not check the account regularly then they will miss
information
There is no way of keeping track of one students use without scrolling
through the feed an physically counting the students comments

When you get to the homepage of the website you have to login or
create an account. When creating an account you have to select if you
are a student, educator, or professional. Once logged in you can see all
the information that has been made public by teachers and students. If
you want to create something you click the red create button and then
you are asked if you want to make a quiz, mind map, flashcards or a
note. If you are a teacher you then can make subject areas but if you are
a student you can find friends to connect with.
Teachers can create classes/subjects to help keep your students
organized. Through the app, the teacher can also connect with students
so the sharing process is easier. Students can create learning groups

Interactive tool that can be used to create polls, trivia and tests. There
are many formats to be made but when you click create in the top right
corner you can see which format pertains to you.
This tool can be used to help students teach the information to
themselves and each other. A person can create groups or topics that
they are responsible for reviewing. They can also help test their peers
knowledge by creating quizzes, polls and trivia.
Pro:
Easy to use and sign up
Safe
Allows collaborative learning between students
Cons:
Some users have complained about a glitch in the system that marks
answers wrong when they are correct.
