Randy Barbrey will be our speaker. He returned from a trip to Uganda Africa in March of this year.
His son is there working with the Four Corners Ministries organization. Randy will share some of
his experiences from Uganda. He attends Flint Baptist Church and is employed with Kroger.

Summit Training for Church Leaders August 5-6

Women on Mission Meeting Tuesday, August 2nd, 10:00 a.m.

Dear Southside Church Family,

My family and I were so honored and humbled to
accept posthumously the "Celebrate America Award
2016" award given to Books. He invested fifty-nine
years in ministry for God and this country, and his
legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched.
Many thanks to Wayne, the choir and instrumentalist
and all others who had a part in this wonderful service.
Brooks always looked forward to seeing what Wayne
would do each year to make the service bigger and
better. How touching to witness the number of past and
present service men and women come to the alter to be
recognized for their service to this great nation. We
were so pleased that Brooks was able to stand amid this
host of servants last year.
Thank you again for honoring him and our family in
such a special way. Continue your service to God and
Pray, Pray for America!
