Dear Ryder Business Partner:

Ryder is a validated participant in the U.S. and Canadian Customs and Border Protection initiative commonly
known as C-TPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) and PIP (Partners In Protection). As a
participant, we have made a firm commitment to enhance the security of the international supply chains in which
we participate. This commitment supports the efforts made by our customers to improve supply chain security and
reduce the risk that their supply chains can be compromised.
It is important to Ryder that our business partners know about these programs and integrate security practices
within their own organizations. As part of this process, we are verifying whether our business partners have active
security programs in place and determining their C-TPAT, PIP and FAST participation status. This applies to
Ryder TM contracted carriers, brokers, freight forwarders and other supply chain services providers.
Your firm is receiving this request because your company provides transportation services to Ryder. Therefore,
we are requesting that you complete and return the attached C-TPAT / PIP / FAST Business Partner Profile Form
(Form S-953).
