Functioning
Set up an event management division, ticket sales, sponsorships & donations
will be used to fund the organizations activities.
For schools that do not offer musical lessons, we aim to introduce Music as a
subject with a graded curriculum for both Western (affiliated to ABRSM, TCL or
LCM) and Indian classical/folk art forms. The lessons will be carried out during
regular or after-school hours, on a weekly/fort-nightly/monthly basis. The
organization will charge a specific fee package to schools, to carry out its
activities.
Arrange frequent master-classes/workshops inviting guest artists from both,
locally and abroad. We are looking to partner with as many schools and arts
organizations in India, so that arrangements could be made for the artist to give
lessons to more students.
Conduct annual competitions, offering talented artists the opportunity to study
locally or abroad for a degree at a major conservatory or college.
Conduct Teacher Training Programs to improve their competency and equip
themselves with the latest methodology and syllabi. This will also be done at
our partner institutes on a yearly basis.
Conduct annual concerts for supported students at our partner institutes/ arts
organizations to encourage and develop their musicianship and stage skills.
Set up an artists fund to support folk, tribal and classical artists financially.
Provide opportunities for folk and tribal musicians to perform and conduct
workshops at various arts institutes.
