expeditions in the Western Pacific. Maintain and upgrade the ROVs onshore between expeditions. Further
design and build related mechanical parts and systems at various locations.

Perform ROV related tasks aboard the Okeanos Explorer during offshore expeditions in the Pacific
Hawaiian Islands. Maintain and upgrade the ROVs onshore at Pearl Harbor, HI. Further design and build
related mechanical parts and systems at various locations.
Jan-June, 2015: Intern
Quonset Shop, North Kingstown, RI
Designed mechanical parts and assemblies relating to the storage and placement of the oil-filled wiring
hoses on the ROVs. Assisted with testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting on the ROV electric motors.
Assembled, modified, and prepared the new bio storage boxes for the ROV Discoverer 2.
Sept 3-Sept 8, 2014: Intern
Offshore Expedition on Okeanos Explorer
Traveled from North Kingstown, RI to Virginia Beach, Virginia as a member of the ROV engineer team.
Performed tasks associated with the launch, operation, and recovery of the ROVs.
June-Aug, 2014: Intern
Quonset Shop, North Kingstown, RI
Designed mechanical parts for the ROVs, and assisted with assembly and testing of previously and newly
installed equipment. Executed various upgrades to the vehicles as needed.

LORD Corporation Viscous Mount Test Fixture
Used Solidworks and Abaqus for design and high frequency testing. Worked with LORD engineers and
student counterparts in Shanghai, China to complete deliverables.

Used Solidworks for design. Built physical prototypes and assured proper assembly/tolerances. Used
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word for presentations and tracking progress.
