Be Careful with Your Words

Be careful with your words,
sometimes the deepest scars
cant be seen with the human
eye, they are the soul deep
scars written only on the
heart. It takes the Love of
God to see the deep damage
done. Let your words of criticism be so very few, your
ones of condemnation never
come in view. The wisest of
the wise knew what it was to
want, the solid truthful
friendship of and ever guarded heart. The one whose
wealth of words He carefully
would spread, wrapped deep
in quiet contemplation as He
himself sought Gods never
failing heart.
The application of such a
friend is so ever true you never have to worry what behind
your back is said. That kind of
friend cares truthfully for
you. You see it in the peaceful
way they live their life,
theyre never masquerading,
its never you they sacrifice.
You can trust them with your
heart you can trust them with
your life.
Who is that friend you say? It
should be: You! to your own
self be true. Go ahead be
your second best friend.
When you parade your vanities and pride you leave yourself wide open for the devil to
enter in, Gods goodwill in
your life to hide. Your eyes
are blinded to the selfish way

you live. You strip from your

own life the promises He
gives. Go ahead admit to
yourself and God you need
His strong arm to strengthen
you and your heart to wisely
guide.
Quietly we drift from His plan
for our life, we hurt the ones
we love and we do not care a
whit the damage that we do,
as theyre cut just down to
size. We steal the very
breath they breathe until
their lives capsize. Its for
their- own good, we quickly
quote; when with our sin
were pressed. You just
dont know how they have
failed me., as our words of
hatred sink deeply in their
breast.
Be careful with your words
my friend I try to caution
them, you see I have walked
your pathway and Hes
brought me back to Him. He
continued to carry my sins
along the pain filled dusty
road. Up the hill to Calvary,
all the while vicious words
were hurled at Him. He never
faltered never sought revenge. Smallness did not become the King of Glory, love
filled Him to the brim.
He kept His eye upon the
cross that very love would
not let Him stray to strike
back at them.

It was my salvation He
planned to give even while I
too cursed at Him. The price
of Godly character comes
with submission you see, its
what kept Him walking onward to the dark Golgotha
tree. His love is what nailed
Him there, not the nails they
pierced Him with. How could
they hope to bind the hands
of perfect majesty!
He looked out and said God
forgive them they know not
what they do., His focus on
eternity. All on earth had
failed Him as He knew they
would. A friend not found
amongst us all, because to
our own self we failed to be
true and sought our selfish
pride we thought that it
would save us as if it ever
could! Clung to our perceived
precious lives in fear, even
though We claimed to be His
friends. He walked onward
knowing His last earthly
breaths drew near.
Be careful with your words
my friend speak truth and
wisdom to your heart. Ask
God to guide you in your self
-talk to your soul your deepest part, ask Him to help you
be the friend that He so graciously has sought. I struggle
with you too, as we seek His
heart you see, I am one of the
ones and you too, He came to
save and longed to call His
friend together He has choContinued p. 2

John 15:15 English
Standard Version (ESV)
15
No longer do I call you
servants, for the servant
does not know what his
master is doing; but I
have called you friends,
for all that I have heard
from my Father I have
made known to you
***
Speak gently to yourself
in the workplace of your
heart, the King of Glory

lives there if you have

asked Him in. Words
spoken in the private
places of your heart
when laced with bitterness, bring damage to
your soul, remove them
quickly use your Spirit
led, self control. Never
let the sting of them ever
reach the air. They only
will cause pain they only
bring despair. Listen quietly to the life He has
planned for you, one day
Hell take you with Him

through all eternity,

youll know in fullness
why the struggles you
have faced. Only trust
Him always and His unfailing, unchanging
Grace. He loves you
most tenderly and always draws you close to
him once he has entered
in.
Because once he has entered in you are his next
of kin.

Tiny Home Project Update

Spaghetti Feed Snapshots:
Above, Ruby and her
twin sister Juleen provided musical entertainment,
Below: Christines
sister Kay was the
organizer and head
cook for the event

The Lord has blessed us

with $7392.00 after paying out $450.00 for the
Spaghetti Feed expenses.
More funds are expected.
A nonprofit is being
formed to build on this
success. The Lord
showed we can expect
any more blessings than I
could imagine. (My goal
was $2,000.00)
This week well pump
Rubys septic, put in risers and inspect. (Approx
imately $1,000.00)
We have a volunteer to
survey the property so
that we can provide the
county with a site map.
We are working on plans
to submit to the building
department for approval.
A team of volunteers will
try to convince the county to waive the permitting fees.

Well concentrate on a
separate bathroom facility first, and then tackle
the house.
Pray that the county will
adopt a helpful (and not
adversarial) stance.
The support of our
church members and the
community at large has
been miraculous. The
Leader articles have
been outstandingly positive.
Pray for my talk at the
Rotary Club this Thursday.
Here is an excerpt from a
letter that accompanied
a donation we received:
I saw your article about
building a home for Ruby
and possibly for others
like her. After reading
the article, and saw that
your congregation is only
40 people, I took a look

at your website. For a

small church, you folks
are making a greater impact on your community
than many larger ones
do! You are truly living
out the Gospel of Jesus
Christ!
Please accept this check
to help build a home for
Rubyor for others in
need of one, if you already have enough funds
for Rubys home.
May God Bless your
efforts in Jesus Name.
-John Jamison

-Point of clarification:
Our congregation is
around 80 each week.
The actual membership is
around 40. The only
difference is that members get to vote whenever the need arises as per
our bylaws. - Kim Wilcox
