Improved the performance of one of the products by 50% and a key designer during
the redesign of the product in C++. Work included parsing the content from broadcast
streams and rendering the content in Multi-threaded environment. Experience of
handling HQ Clients, understanding their needs and making delivery before project
deadlines. Also worked as Team Lead during the overseas visit of Lead of the project.

ADVANCED WEB BROWSER(APRIL 2014-DEC 2014)

Work included adding advanced features in Samsung DTV browser, checking for
security vulnerabilities by providing new security features and building smart
recommendation system. The Web Browser code has been written in C++ with use of
Databases and Integration with Large Stacks. Initially the scope of the project was
undefined, played crucial role in defining the milestone path, roles and responsibilities
of every engineer in the team. Collaborated with the HQ Clients and other teams
involved and made subsequent releases with New Advanced features (HTTP Strict
Transport Security, Public Key Pinning, Third Party Cookie Blocking, NoScript, Site
Identity Certificates etc) on Two different platforms. The work was appreciated even by
the management in HQ given the initial absence of clear vision.
Implemented the Pre-Rendering feature in the Web Browser which involved
architectural design of the entire Functionality and integration in the existing code
which improved average page loading time by 20%.
Contributed to WebKit implementing different features which is an Open Source
Project and the backend for most Modern Browsers. The Webkit Code has been
extensively written in C++ and involves all the fundamentals of programming.
Web Browser 2017(Jan 2015-Present)
Given successful accomplishments in last project was given task of designing a new
conceptual Web Browser for TV leading a team of 4 people with all the design
requirements and specifications, while still carrying forward the last project and

defining the vision and strategy. Collaborated with the team members in coming up
with unique ideas and also supervised the POC while working in close association with
other teams from Different Domains for the project tasks. During the designing
process successfully got two patents approved on the Web Browser which would
become part of the newly designed browser. The design was appreciated by the
Management and is now being run as Mega Project.
Initiated the proposal of innovation team to the management where people with
different fields of expertise would share their problems and discuss solutions. The idea
was accepted by the management and set to functionality in no time. Different patent
ideas and new projects were generated by the Idea Innovation Team.
Implemented Content Security Policy and ported WebCryptography,which were
recently included in standards by the W3C, a body for proposing and finalising new
Web Standards.
Working on the development of 2017 Web Browser for Samsung Smart TVs.
Performed analysis of many live market issues and provided optimised solutions.
Overseas experience of working in HQ in close collaboration with members from HQ
and Samsung Poland. The agenda of the trip involved design review and refactoring of
Web Browser 2016 code. Optimised Web Browser 2016 and improved performance
by 25%.

- One A1 patent ( Application Number 2515/DEL/2015) Method and Apparatus for
Managing Multimedia content.
- Another A1 patent ( Application Number 4167/DEL/2015) Method and System for
saving Web Content.
- Member of A1 committee where the task involves suggesting the enhancements in
A2 grade patents and and getting them converted to A1.
- Two more patents are under final review.
