Red Battlefield [aka RBF] Situational Beginner Guide:

Red Battlefield is hated by alot of people, most likley cause it feels unbalanced for the casual player.
I'll try to explain how to have a non-depressing time and maybe even a fun expierence playing.:)
There's 2types of RedBattlefield, I will focus on the Limited one (300ap/dp combined):
(You can enter rbf/find the rules over the menu [press esc])

First of all you should adjust your gear, which most likley means taking stuff off. I recommend 140ap/160dp. (acc offhand
If you're missing out an important armor part you should get a +0 (or more) armor of the same type with the same crystal
to 1. Get the set bonus/+evasion 2. feel comfortable 3. make the most out of the handicap/get an advantage
Let's begin...There's a hidden fixed roll for every class (yes, I'm serious):

-Valks/Warriors/Kunoi: You're defending your backline. Cover your wizards and rangers and grapple engaging enemies.
-Tamer/Ninja: You're flanking the enemies, engaging from behind, cc+lil dps AND back out. Repeat.
-Berzerkers: Stay with ur team, run into the enemies frontline, grapple someone and throw him into ur team. AoeStunRd
->engage
-Plum/Blader: You're running arround catching people off-guard [ONLY]. 1Combo them, repeat. Engage into 1v1s and ma
it 2v1.
-Wizards/Witches: Spam ur aoe's when you're feeling comfortable, keep an eye on your surroundings. Stay behind yo
frontline.
-Rangers: Type1: Close combat shotgun/doge spam [ghillie required] Type2: ranged shotgun+dps spells
-Sorceress: You stall big groups of players with iframes. Wait for cc and throw out high dps / very individual playstyle
Tips:
-Your team should be a rotating group of players, they are safety, stay with them if you're clueless/need cover.

-If you're getting spawntrapped ,which happens if one team knows/is lucky with what they are doing, use Daz's buff.
Daz is the vendor on RBF and he gives you a 20second invincibility buff if you talk to him and press R.
Buff up, jump down and push ur enemies, they won't be able to damage you for 20seconds, trust me. 10/10 strat if yo
whole team does it.
-Always focus high point targets if possible.
-Food Buffs aren't banned and a nice boost to your already nerfed stats, use them (SerendiaMeal/CombatKnightRations)
Same goes for alchemy stones. <- those are more expensive to repair, I personaly don't use them.
-You can use V to escape/recover if you made a mistake (5minute cd).
-You can use the escape option via the menu (press esc[ape]) if you run out of RBF potions.
-Don't overuse the GreenArrowRain as ranger since it will make you a high-prio target.
Of course it's possible to do whatever you want and still succed but I won't recommend it.
After a while you will find yourself, which means you'll figure out what works out best for yourself and your team.
