Parts
Each level is divided into three parts. Each part is designed to contain approximately two months of
study material. Although you have approximately two months of materials, you still need to take the
Progress Test within 60 days! If you do not tak

Each part ends with a progress test. These will help you gauge your progress.

Speech Recognition
The progress and final tests contain speech recognition questions. After you record your speech
it will be colorcoded.

You will also see your Word Pronunciation (W) score on the questions that test wordlevel
pronunciation. You will see your Sentence Pronunciation (S) score on the questions that test
sentencelevel pronunciation. You will see your Fluency (F) score on the questions that test
fluency. Scoring is based on a 6point scale.

Word Pronunciation refers to your ability to pronounce a word like a nativespeaker. The color
coded sentence will identify the phonemes in the word you did or did not say like a native
speaker.
Sentence Pronunciation refers to your ability to pronounce a sentence like a nativespeaker.
The color coded sentence will identify the phonemes or words you did or did not say like a
nativespeaker.
Fluency refers to your ability to pronounce a passage like a native speaker using a rate of
speech that is similar to a native speaker including how a native speaker says a word, phrase or
sentence. The colorcoding will identify the phonemes or words you did or did not say like a
nativespeaker..

How do I move to the next level?


If you get 60% or higher on the Final Test, you are eligible to Level 3.
