In the Name of Allh, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Entreaty of Shaykh Ysuf bin Isml an-Nabhn, may Allh benefit us by him!

Allh, O Allh, O Allh!
O Recourse of the seeker! We cry for help!

In the Name of God, and by Him we begin
And had we worshipped other than Him, we would be wretched

O how beloved a Lord and how beloved a religion!
And how beloved is Muammad, our guide!

Were it not for him neither would we be nor remain
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

O Allh, had You not guided us, we would never have found the straight path
Nor would we have given charity, nor prayed

So send upon us Your serenity
And steady our step should we encounter (the enemy)

We are the ones who have come to You in submission
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

And the pagans have revolted against us
If they should want to afflict us, we do renounce it

And their armies have summoned each other against us
exactly as in the Prophetic narrations that we relate




So repel them, O Allh, in loss
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Beneficent, O Merciful!
Allh, O Living, O Self-Subsisting!

Allh, O Strong, O Eternal!
Allh, O Most-High, O Formidable!

It is not befitting for the enemies to overcome us
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, OSubtle, O Omniscient!
Allh, O Compassionate, O Wise!





Allh, O Ever-Relenting, O Clement!
Allh, O Bestower, O Generous!

Raise our ranks and make our enemies below us
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Master, O Light-Giver!
Allh, O King, O Omnipotent!

Allh, OPatron, O Helper!
Allh, You are the Great King!

Our enemies cannot escape You
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!



Allh, O All-Thankful, O Grateful!
Allh, O Effacer of sins, O All-Forgiving!

Allh, O Knower, O All-Aware!
Allh, O Opener, O All-Seeing!

Do not deprive us of Your clear opening
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Manifest, O Majestic!
Allh, O Hidden, O Trustee!

Allh, OTrue, O Beautiful!
Allh, O Guardian, O Surety!




Be our Guardian and be our Aid
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Rich, O All-laudable!
Allh, O Enricher, O He who guides aright!

Allh, O Beginner, O Restorer!
Allh, O Almighty, O All-Glorious!

To Your Majesty the declarers of Your unity complain of weakness

Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O All-Powerful, O All-Determiner!
Allh, O Subduer, O Postponer!





Allh, OOriginator, O Fashioner!
Allh, O Enumerator, O Ruler!

Plan for us and destroy our enemies
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Everlasting, never dies!

Allh, O Existing, never passes away!

Allh, OLife-Giver, O Slayer!

Allh, O Succourer, O Nourisher!

Grant us succour and be our firm fort
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!







Allh, O Expander, You are the Vast!
Allh, O Contractor, You are the Denier!

Allh, OCreator, You are the Uniter!
Allh, O Abaser, You are the Exalter!

Raise our heights to the Illiyyn
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, Lord of the Ways of Ascent, the Exalted!
Allh, O Fulfiller and O Quick!

Allh, OSufficer and O All-Hearing!
O Light, O Guide, and O Innovator!




You have disciplined us with what has occurred. It is sufficient
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, Possessor of Majesty and Honour!
Allh, the perpetually Bountiful!

Allh, OLord of bounties and favours!
And the Absolute Master of mankind!

Have mercy on Your slaves who worship You

Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O First, You are Unique!
Allh, O Last, You are the Director to the right way!




O Single, O Supreme Greatness, O Resourceful!
O Doer of Good, O Bestower, O Magnificent!

By Your Favour accept us as we are
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Clear, O Loving!
Allh, O All-Encompassing, O Universal Witness!

Allh, OFirm, O Severe!
O He who is the Doer of whatever He wills!

Indeed we are week. To You we have recoursed!
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!



Allh, O Extoller, O Promoter!
Allh, O Humiliator, O Avenger!

The Originator, the Everlasting who will never cease to exist!
The Doer of Good, the Protector, the most noble Preserver

None have we who can protect us except You!
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Inheritor, You are the Eternal!
Allh, O Raiser of the dead, You are the One!

O King of Absolute Sovereignty, the Eternal God!
No equal to Him nor is He begotten nor does He begat





Hold back the enemies from us as they have surely harmed us
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Prevailer, O Subjugator!
Allh, O Creator of Good, You are the Creator of the harmful!

Allh, OMaker, O Oft-Forgiving One!
Allh, O Lord of Power, the Compeller!

Make our duny upright and strengthen our religion
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, the Lord of Honour, the Bestower of Peace!
The Source of Security, the Guardian, the All-Knowing!



The Lord of Mercy, the Most High, the Absolute Might!
Whose True Religion is Islam

Send O Allah those who will assist it!
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, You are the Exalted, the Arbitrator!
The Unequalled, the Lord of the Throne, the Protector, the Most Just!

The Forgiver, the Giver, the Generous, the Bestower!
The Just, the Ever-Patient, the most Merciful!

Establish a firm place for us in our land
Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!




Allh, O Holy One, O Proof!
O Doer of Good, O All-Merciful, O Benefactor!

O Real, O Equitable, O Requiter!
Blessed are Your Beautiful Names!

By them we have knocked on Your well-guarded door

Indeed, we have called upon You, so please answer our prayers! mn!

Allh, O Creator of all things, O Ever-Relenting!
Allh, O Provider, O Reckoner!

Allh, O Nigh, O All-Observant!
The One whose help is sought, the Hearer, the Responder!

The reciter ends with a supplication for him/herself and the author of this entreaty and the entire Ummah of
Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
O Allh! Forgive me and Your weak servant, Ysuf bin Isml an-Nabhn, the author of this entreaty, and enter me and
him into Paradise with no prior punishment. And convey to his soul the reward of this Ftiah.
O Allh! Forgive the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Pardon the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Excuse the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Forgive the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Open for the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Strenghten the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Grant victory to the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Empower the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Aid the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Have mercy upon the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Grant success to the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Protect the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Guard the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Restore the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him, to a sound state. mn!
O Allh! Grant relief to the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Be pleased with the Ummah of our Master Muammad, peace and blessings be upon him. mn!
O Allh! Befriend whoso befriends them and show enmity to whoso is an enemy to them. And grant them the utmost
desired clear opening and mighty victory in every time and place.

O Allh! Aid by them Your true Sacred Law and Your clear Religion. And perpetuate their glory and splendour until the
Day of Judgment. O our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed only You are the Hearer, the Knower. And turn to us (in
Mercy). Indeed only You are the Ever-Relenting, the Merciful. And may Allh send salutations upon our Master
Muammad and upon all the Prophets and Messengers, and all their families and companions. And Praise is to Allh,
Lord of the Worlds!
