NCMC Towards the Implementation of K-12 Program prepared and submitted

ABSTRACT

Alisna, Abigail Daun and Saquin, Joy, Bachelor of Science in Social


Work conducted and submitted a thesis entitled Parents Perception of the
Grade 7 Pupils of NCMC towards the Implementation of K-12 Program.
The study investigates the parents sources of information about K 12
program, parents perception about the implementation of K -12 program, in
terms of: Personal and Students Welfare, and the perceived problems of the
parents regarding the implementation of K 12 program.
Findings shows that the Majority of the respondents had their
sources of information from PTA meeting and Orientation Conferences. The
highest ranked of the perceptions of the respondents in terms of personal and
students welfare were It add financial burden to the family (4.82) and
Graduates will possess competencies and skills relevant to the job market
(4.91). However, parents perceived problems regarding the implementation of
the program shows that shortage of classroom, teachers and non-teaching
personnel (5) and lots of facilities lacking like computer laboratory, library
and others (4.94) were the top 2 concerns.
