DEDICATION
This thesis is dedicated to our parents, friends and our professors, who taught us that the best kind
of knowledge to have is that which is learned for its own sake and even the largest task can be
accomplished if it is done one step at a time.
This study aims to equalize illegitimate and legitimate children in terms of legitime. It also aims to
determine the reasons why should there be an equalization of illegitimate and legitimate in terms of
legitime.
The descriptive method of research was used in this study. Descriptive research is a study designed
to depict the participants particularly legitimate children in an accurate way by asking them if they are
legitimate or illegitimate child. More simply put, descriptive research is all about describing people who
take part in the study of the equalization of legitimate and illegitimate children in terms of legitime.
The researchers studied the related literature and information regarding the legitime of illegitimate
and legitimate children and came up to equalize them in terms of legitime. Such suggested equalization
were subjected to test the agreeableness with the respondents whether they agree or not on the said
equalization.
