Everglades Preparatory Academy

Everglades Preparatory Academy's athletic program is showing amazing promise. Their dedicated football players have practiced
throughout the summer under the leadership of Head Coach, Ryan Nani and his experienced coaching staff. Joining the coaching
team as the Defensive Coordinator is former University of Miami football player, Marcus Robinson. Also, joining EPA from Sunset
Senior High is Offensive Line Coach, Jamar Jean Baptiste and Assistant Coaches Tony Bing and Rey Ramnarine.
The Everglades Panthers celebrated their first preseason Fall Classic game win against Ransom Everglades on Wednesday, August
19th at 7pm. Last season, the Ransom Raiders had a record of 8-2 and even made the playoffs. With a final score of 10-14, the
Panther players realized that determination and teamwork wins games even against a winning opponent.
Freshmen Kavon Holmes had a 67 yard touchdown and Junior Chris Hernandez followed with a 50 yard reception. Senior and
Center Moses Benevidies stood out as one of the stars of the Offensive Line. Freshman and lefty Quarter Back Demetrius Burns
facilitated their first win and stood out as a team leader.
Everglades Preparatory Academy will also offer girls' volleyball, boys' and girls'
basketball, soccer, softball, cross-country, and girls' flag football.
Coming in the 2016-2017 school year will include the addition of
wrestling, track and swimming. There is no doubt that one
should keep an eye out on the Everglades Preparatory
athletic program.

Just like their

the Southridge

tough of a football team as any
in the county.
Southridge

a playoff spot,
but their playoff

In one of the toughest districts in the
