Thursday & Friday Conferences
I got the privilege of experiencing every conference that my teacher had. Some of these
conferences included a lot of difficult information that may be hard to discuss with
others, but it was a great experience to see how to professionally handle those
situations. I learned how important to mention all of the good things that the student is
doing, and not just focusing on what needs improvement. Sometimes we can get caught
up and telling someone what he or she may want to work on with his or her child, and
forget to share all of the great things their child brings to the classroom. It was also
beneficial to be able to meet all the parents, so they have a better understanding of
what I will be doing this semester with their students. I am very grateful for this
opportunity and will be able to carry out my experiences in the future.

I have noticed that my CS has such a great relationship with the students. She is goofy with
them, and they really feel like they can open up to her. There are a lot of great team members
that work together to help the students reach their full potential. I already feel very welcome
and a part of the team.
