Letter from the CEO

First of all, allow us to mention that our values and
commitment derives from the history of our founder Mr. Faiq S.
A'bed who planted the seeds for our success in 1970. We are
here today due to his wisdom in decision making, positive
thinking in development, and firm policies. We exert these
values in our business conduct, both on strategical and tactical
levels. Striving to become the first choice for our clients in
fulfilling their oil field requirements; contributing in the
development of our communities; and participating in Iraq's
reconstruction; those are our values.

Introduction
SAHARA MIDDLE EAST PETROLEUM SERVICES A privately owned limited liability entity registered in
2010 under the laws of Iraq holding a registration number (MU-02-74937) to serve the Oil and Gas
Industry.
SAHARA ME is strongly present in Iraq through its operations offices in Baghdad, Basra and our base
camp facility in North Rumaila Oil field which operates as a hub for our local logistics and warehousing
in the Southern region of Iraq. We are also registered in Kurdistan Region under MNR Number (1333).
SAHARA Middle East has built solid capabilities through partnering with leading principals and
performing a record of successfully executed construction, services and supply projects for major
operators in Iraq.

History
Our history goes back to the year 1970 when the founder of SAHARA MEA started business activities in
general trading , construction, and representing foreign companies in Iraq by establishing Faiq S. Abed
Bureau, followed later by establishing specialized companies within different fields under different trade
names.
Different projects have been executed in construction and civil engineering fields in addition to supplying
equipment, materials and providing consultancy services to different sectors in the Oil Field and Water
Industries
In the middle of the 1980s, Sahara Group of Companies was established to cover water drilling activities
and other Geotechnical engineering Services

In 2010 Sahara was reformed as three independent stand-alone companies to streamline the
management of the business:

2. Petrol Log Oil Field Services Ltd. (Jordan)

Our scope of service also includes the provision of technical support

personnel, who in conjunction with our clients technical staff supports
operations to maintain production, minimize HSE risks, reduce
operational costs and add value to our client.
