described how he had been holding his daugLrter in his arms' carrying her,

extensive retinal hemorrtrage in both eye6, previous unexpiained bruising
described by the mother, and metaphyseal fracture; it is her practieed
opinion that the magnitude of the injuries sustained by lhe chl1d hrere
inconsistent ni-th }taving been caused by a simple fa]I as described by the
