What youll need:

Little lamb

Worsted-weight acrylic yarn:


o Color A: white (25 yds)
o Color B: black (5 yds)
F/5 3.75mm crochet hook
Poly-Fil or any stuffing of your choice
Yarn needle
Cat hair brush

Abbreviation key:

increase (2sc in next st)

Crochet in a spiral. Use something to mark the first stitch of a round, and move it up as you work.
The Magic Circle is used to start each piece. Alternative technique: ch 2, then sc x6 into the second chain away
from the hook. Sl st to join the round. This creates Round 1.
For this model, I used Lion Brands Vannas Choice acrylic yarn
When crocheting the body, Round 1 is the bottom of the animal

Little Lamb Body:

Face:

Using Color A,
Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 sts
Round 2: inc x6= 12 sts
Round 3: (1 inc, sc in next st) x6 = 18 sts
Round 4: Mark this round before continuing. (1 inc, sc in
next 2 sts) x6 = 24 sts
Round 5: (1 inc, sc in next 3 sts) x6 = 30 sts
Round 6: (1 inc, sc in next 4 sts) x6 = 36 sts
Round 7: (1 inc, sc in next 5 sts) x6 = 42 sts
Round 8-9: sc in the next 42 sts =42 sts
Round 10: (1 dec, sc in next 5 sts) x6 = 36 sts
Round 11: (1 dec, sc in next 4 sts) x6 = 30 sts
Round 12-13: sc in the next 30 sts =30 sts
Round 14: (1 dec, sc in next 3 sts) x6 = 24 sts
Stuff body with Poly-Fil, and continue stuffing as you go.
Continue crocheting body:
Round 15: (1 dec, sc in next 2 sts) x6 = 18 sts
Round 16: (1 dec, sc in next st) x6 = 12 sts
Round 17: dec x6 = 6 sts
Fasten off and leave a 12 tail. DO NOT hide the yarn tail
inside the body. Use a clean cat brush to fluff up the
outside of the body by repeatedly brushing the yarn.
Continue stuffing as you go.

Using Color B,
Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches
Round 2: inc x6= 12 sts
Round 3: sc in the next 12 sts =12 sts
Work on the ears: Ch 2 and then dc into the last st of
Round 3, ch 2 and sl st into the same st. Sl st next 3
sts. Ch 2 and dc into the last stitch that you slip
stitched into, ch 2, sl st into same st. Fasten off and
leave a 12 tail for sewing.
Attach the face to the body between Rounds 4 & 10.
Make sure to stuff the face with a bit of Poly-Fil. Use
the Color A yarn tail from the body to embroider tiny
eyes onto the face.
Using Color B, embroider 4 hooves on the bottom of
the lamb and embroider a tiny tail on its behind. Hide
any remaining yarn tails in the body.

Continue crocheting body:

Fasten off and leave a 6 tail. Hide yarn tail in body.

Duckling Feet (make 2):


Using Color B,
Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches
Fasten off and leave an 8 tail for sewing. Sew the feet to
the bottom of the ducklings body. Hide excess yarn tails
in the body.

Insert eyes between Rounds 7 & 8. The eyes should


be about 7 sts apart. Attach washers to secure eyes.
Embroider beak between the eyes using Color B yarn.
Stuff body with Poly-Fil. Continue stuffing as you go.

Continue crocheting body:


Round 15: (1 dec, sc in next 2 sts) x6 = 18 sts
Round 16: (1 dec, sc in next st) x6 = 12 sts
Round 17: dec x6 = 6 sts
Fasten off and leave a 6 tail. Hide the yarn tail inside
the body. Finish fluffing up the body using the cat
brush.

Wings (make 2):


Using Color A,
Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches
Round 2: inc x6= 12 sts
Round 3: (1 inc, sc in next st) x6 = 18 sts
Fasten off and leave a 12 tail for sewing. Fold disc in
half and sew the edges together to make a wing shape.
Fluff wings with cat brush. Attach each wing to the sides
of the chick body. Hide all yarn tails inside body.
Use Color B yarn to embroider feet.

Pink fabric paint
Paint brush

Round 6: (1 inc, sc in next 4 sts) x6 = 36 sts
Round 7: Mark this round before continuing. (1 inc, sc
in next 5 sts) x6 = 42 sts
Round 8-9: sc in the next 42 sts =42 sts

Using Color A,

Round 2: inc x6= 12 sts
Round 3: (1 inc, sc in next st) x6 = 18 sts
Round 4-5: sc in the next 18 sts =18 sts
Round 6: (1 dec, sc in next st) x6 = 12 sts
Round 7-9: sc in the next 12 sts =12 sts
Fasten off and leave a 12 tail.
Flatten the ear. Using pink fabric paint, paint the center
column of the ear between rounds 2-9. When the paint is
dry, pinch the bottom of the ear with your fingers to form a
teardrop shape. Use the yarn tail to sew shut. Attach ears to
the top of the bunnys head. Hide excess yarn tail in the
body.

Tail:
Using Color A,
Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches
Round 2: inc x6= 12 sts
Round 3: dec x6 = 6 sts
Fasten off and leave an 8 tail for sewing. Sew tail to the
bunnys behind. Hide excess yarn tail in body.
