Introduction

This guide is intended to help new teitoku (admirals in Kancolle web game) to-:
i.

Register on DMM site.

ii.

Register for Kancolle game.

iii.

Use KC3Kai Chrome add-on to play Kancolle without using any VPN.

Kindly follow the following steps until you get into the game.

Installation of KC3Kai add-on.

Go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/kancolle-commandcenter-%E6%94%B9/hkgmldnainaglpjngpajnnjfhpdjkohh to install KC3Kai

extension for your Google Chrome browser.

Click ADD TO CHROME. The size of the extension is just 6MB. If you want to save
the extension file (.crx), use other non-Chrome-based browsers such as Firefox or
Opera to download the crx file.

When the installation is finished, the extension button (yellow-colored) will appear
on the upper right of the browser. Click on it and go to KC3Kai Settings.

Go to Force Cookie Hack setting. Tick the box.

Now it is safe to close the setting tab.

Changing to Japanese Standard Time (JST)

This is important before selecting server which will be done later. Change your
locale time to Japanese Standard Time (GMT +09).

Registering DMM account

Go to https://www.dmm.com/my/-/register/ to register for the first time. Make sure

that you are using internet connection that does not block access to DMM.

Please choose Japanese language.

Click on the yellow bar to continue if prompted to do so.

Fill in your e-mail address, password & subsequently tick on the DMM agreement.
For the password, just put alphanumeric characters (A-Z,0-9) without any spaces &
punctuations.

Within 5 minutes or less, you will receive account verification mail from DMM.
Please check your e-mail inbox.

In the mail, you will see a long verification link. Click on it or if you are unable to do
so, just copy it & paste in your address bar.

You will be redirected to the DMM site whereby your account is already activated.
Once again, choose Japanese language if the site gave you the options.

Registering Kancolle account

Assuming that you have logged into your DMM account, you can go to
http://rcv.ixd.dmm.com/api/surl?urid=thvy3HHW or
http://www.dmm.com/netgame_s/kancolle/ to register on Kancolle.

When you see the website as shown in the next page, then it means that you have not
missed any of the steps above. If it shows that the game is currently belonging to
Nutaku, please check whether you have forced the cookie hack in the KC3Kai
Settings option. If the box has been ticked but you are still not directed to the correct
website, please restart your Chrome.

Click on the big red icon.

In Step 1, enter the name that you want to use in the game. This will also be asked
later in the game. Also choose your gender [Male, Female] and set your birthdate.
Tick in the DMM checkbox (not necessary). Lastly, click on the yellow proceed
button.

In Step 2, the info that you have entered in Step 1 will appear for confirmation.
Click on the bottom yellow button to proceed.

Step 3 before you get into the game is server selection. You can select one server
only. Selectable servers are those not having the red icon with kanji letter inside.

When server selection is successful, black screen with ship floating up and down in
the middle will appear. This is the initiation screen.

Next, the game cache will be downloaded into Chrome cache storage such as
follows. The download depends on your internet speed.

Finally, click on the GAME START button. It means that your Kancolle registration
is finished. You can start by entering your in-game name, selecting a starter
destroyer and completing the five-steps tutorial.

It is safe to revert to your original locale time when you are playing or just right
after you have succeeded in selecting a server.
