Subject: MAYDAY TEN AND FINAL MAYDAY MESSAGE TO ALL ! --- USE SURFACE OR SEA WATER TO SPRAY BOP TOP CLEAR FOR
ROV WORK

Importance: High

Ladies and Gentlemen: MAYDAY TEN AND FINAL MAYDAY MESSAGE TO ALL !

1. Consider critical vision requirements at BOP top work area for next attempts.
2. Think of spraying warm water through positioned hoses with ROV spraying water spray hose to blow away oil or
mud from site so ROV working has uninterrupted view.
3. You can even tie off clamps directing water clear against work surfaces.
4. Have extra ROV specialists who can assist looking for bodies up to five miles circular seabed area.
5. DO NOT CUT PIPE NEAR BOP exit riser until 20 foot sections are cut then removed with crane moved and laid
down, ROV can use eyed slings hooking 5 foot onto crane FISH HOOK item.
6. Once moved to Bottom Crane can relax with ROV retrieving sling with crimped connectors then wrap around
BOP bent riser twice at least to ensure it will not slip at bop flange connection toward BOP riser alloeing instant
clearing.
7. Anticipate high volume blow of pipe contents so have TWO 45 degree ell with larger sleeve pipe and possibly 30
feet push away from BOP to contain the blow and direct it away IF NOT UP from work area while ROV TRIES to
use a grinder to perhaps prepare seal on BOP flange. Remember the water flowing or washing the BOP will help
vision and push oil away on the pipe just a seal temporarily over Flange. TWO 45 degree Ells would allow oil to
flow with gas from Vertical to Horizontal perhaps keeping it away from BOP work area and allowing full visibility.
8. Second Crane can be assisting ROV at BOP while FIRST crane prepares to lower the new LSMRP or whatever
near the BOP. Once the BOP sleeve with two 45 degree ells is removed, slowly put on the new TOY WIDE OPEN
to the surface as a SHUTOFF VALVE must be on the top to stop freezing water when you move it over opening up
same and the OIL plus Gas will fill all piping to the surface without freezing or making ice IMHO. Controlled from
bottom and main entry point must have a waterproof plastic SOCK wrapped over same until it hits the bottom
near BOP.

9. Once BOP item is added and hopefully super heavy to counteract 15K or more pressure ensure shutoffs are up
toward surface in case it has to be shut down and P L E A S E drill tapped holes in the side PLUS SUPER STONG
BOLTS TO GRAB where it attaches to the BOP to be additional support to not allow it to be blown off as the BOP
flange is super strong.
10. Suggest keeping 21 inch full flow to risers with shutoffs up and bottom to allow full flow unrestricted onse
bottom feed waterproof cover removed.

Remember: IF you need to secure the unit think of another clam shell item with hinges and seals that could be
closed OVER your unit securely and seal any possible leaks that might be pushing out underneath…..BOX FOR A
BOX with seals and bolts like the Liquid Natural Gas containers which are set down on plates having all thread
rod then sealed with special machined surfaces using simple nuts and washers. GO WATCH SOME BUILD IT
BIGGER FLICKS !

Good luck USCG with the project but remember to use the seawater FIRE HOSE technique with fan nozzle perhaps to
keep the work area clear of oil and make all go away with a sleeve and two 45 degree ells plus pipe perhaps 30 feet
held by a crane from on top directly over the BOP FLANGE sitting down on same until ready to seat your new attempt.
