Wednesday: PRAYER FOR
TEENAGERS: Lord Jesus Christ, we
pray that we may strive to attain

those qualities and virtues which You

possessed in your teenage years. We
ask for your grace in our lives to help
us live in our world in a way that is
pleasing to You, to respect ourselves
and others and to be detached from
the enticements of this world. May we
always have the wisdom to seek
Gods will and the courage to follow
it.
Thursday: PRAYER TO THE HOLY
SPIRIT: Holy Spirit, be with me today.
Be my teacher, my guide, my
counselor, my friend. Fill me with your
gifts, especially the gifts of wisdom,
knowledge, compassion and love. In
all that I think, say and do let it be in
accordance with your most holy will. I
ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
Friday: ACT OF CONTRITION Oh my
God, I am sorry for my sins with all my
heart. In choosing to do wrong and
failing to do good, I have sinned
against you whom I should love above
all things. I firmly intend with your
help to do penance, to sin no more,
and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and
died for us. In His name, my God,
have mercy. Amen.
NOVENA PRAYER FOR VOCATIONS:
God our Father, in baptism you called
us by name and made us members of
your people, the Church. We praise
you for your goodness and thank you
for your gifts. Father, bless your
Church with love and raise up
dedicated and generous leaders from
our family and friends who will serve
as priests, brothers, sisters, deacons
and especially DeLaSalle Christian
Brothers. Send your Spirit to guide
and strengthen us so that we may
serve your people following the
example of Jesus Christ your Son, in

whose name we offer this prayer.

Amen.

The Angelus (Revised ICEL 2011)
V. The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
V. And the Word was made Flesh:
R. And dwelt among us.
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
R. that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our
hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was
made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion
and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through
the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

ANGELUS (Latin Revised 2011 ICEL)

V. Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mari.
R. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.
V. Ecce ancilla Domini,
R. Fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum.
V. Et Verbum caro factum est,
R. Et habitavit in nobis.
V. Ora pro nobis, sancta Dei Genetrix,
R. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.

Oremus. Gratiam tuam, qusumus, Domine, mentibus nostris

infunde. Ut qui, Angelo nuntiante, Christi Filii tui incarnationem
cognovimus, per passionem eius et crucem ad resurrectionis
gloriam perducamur. Per eumdem Christum Dominum nostrum.
R. Amen.

Advent:
Come Lord Jesus

Into our world

Come Lord Jesus

Into our lives

Come Lord Jesus

Into my heart

Jesus Christ is the joy and happiness of all who look forward to his coming.
Let us call upon him and say:
Come, Lord, Do not delay!
In joy, we wait for your coming.
Come, Lord Jesus.
Before time began, you shared life with the Father.
Come now and save us.
You created the world and all who live in it.
Come to redeem the work of your hands.
You did not hesitate to become human, subject to death.
Come to free us from the power of death.
You came to give us life to the full.
Come to give us your unending life.
You desire all people to live in love in your kingdom.
Come and bring together those who long to see your
face

Advent Prayer: Father, in the wilderness of the Jordan you sent a messenger to
prepare peoples hearts for the coming of your Son. Help me to hear his words and
repent of my sins, so that I may clearly see the way to walk, the truth to speak, and the
life to live for Him, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Family: O Jesus look graciously upon our family here before you.
Once more we consecrate ourselves before you -- our trials, our joys -- that our home
may ever be the shrine of peace, purity, love and faith. Protect and bless all of us, both
absent and present, and be merciful to those departed.
O Mary, loving mother of Jesus, and our mother, pray to Jesus for our family, for all
the families of the world, to guard the cradle of the newborn, the schools of the young
and their vocations.
O Joseph, holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all
necessities of life. Be present at the pillow of the sick and the dying so that we may all
be united to Jesus and Mary and you for all eternity.
O Jesus, our most loving Redeemer, who having come to enlighten the world with
Thy teaching and example, didst will to pass the greater part of Thy life in humility and
subjection to Mary and Joseph in the poor home in Nazareth, thus sanctifying the Family
that was to be an example for all Christian families, graciously receive our family as it
dedicates and consecrates itself to Thee this day. Do Thou defend us, guard us and
establish amongst us Thy holy fear, true peace, and concord in Christian love: in order
that, by conforming ourselves to the divine pattern of Thy family, we may be able, all of
us without exception, to attain to eternal happiness.
Mary, dear Mother of Jesus and Mother of us, by thy kindly intercession make this
our humble offering acceptable in the sight of Jesus, and obtain for us His graces and
blessings.
O Saint Joseph, most holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by thy prayers in
all our spiritual and temporal necessities; that so we may be enabled to praise our divine
Savior Jesus, together with Mary and thee, for all eternity.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless us and grant us the grace of loving Holy Church, as we are
bound to do, above every earthly thing, and of ever showing forth our love by the
witness of our deeds
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless us and grant us the grace of openly professing, as we are
bound to do, with courage and without human respect, the faith that we received of Thy
gift in Holy Baptism.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless us and grant us the grace of sharing, as we are bound to
do, in the defense and propagation of the Faith, when duty calls, whether by word or by
the sacrifice of our fortunes and our lives.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless us and grant us the grace of loving one another in mutual
charity, as we are bound to do, and establish us in perfect harmony of thought, will and
action, under the rule and guidance of our holy Pastors.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, bless us and grant us the grace of conforming our lives fully, as
we are bound to do, to the commandments of God's law and that of His holy church, so
as to live always in that charity which they set forth.
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, we ask in particular this special favor: [state your request here].
