The flat file Structure
Assume that you have below flat file structure that you need to load to SAP BW 7.4 system.

Make sure you create .CSV file and save in your work station also for EAGE and ESAL give format as
number in excel.

Info Area creation

Info Object catalog creation

Create character and Key figure InfoObject catalog It looks like this

Now create Char and Key figure InfoObjects in these catalogs

Sample for creation of Employee Number
Note: If you have lowercase in your DataSource you can check Lowercase letters

This is list of all InfoObjects created as per our flat file

DataSource creation
Steps to create DataSource First you need an application component

Application component creation

Extraction parameter in DataSource creation

Note:
Make sure Header row is ignored if you have any heading in CSV file
make sure you have data format set to CS
Also set data separator and escape sign as above screen

Click load example data in proposal to check data

The field initially

Enter InfoObject name in Field and presenter

Final fields, Note currency field is inserted

Activate the DataSource

InfoPackage creation
From Context menu of DataSource you can do this

Extraction Tab in InfoPackage This should be fetched from DataSource

Schedule the extraction

Check the PSA Data

Now click in the monitor
