TASK: 1
Teachers are often regarded as idols and best example to all students and also the local
community around the school. However, it is undeniable that there are some teachers who polluted
the teaching profession with a variety of negative things. To keep the image of the profession, every
teacher must adhere to professional ethics, teaching ethics, ethical behavior and ethics of public
service (Abd. Rahim, 2007).
The teaching profession is always bound and guided by the Teachers Code of Ethics.
According to Merriam Webster digital dictionary from meriamwebster.com (2012), ethics is the
principles that govern the behavior of individuals or groups of individuals (professionals) Teacher
ethical issues often become the focus in the media and this is a subject that need to be addressed
by all the teachers to care of the teaching profession in order not to be looked down by the society.

handled with prudence.
No doubt that the cost of living is constantly increasing as a result of the development that

TASK 2:
Leadership is an important element in formal organizations. Leaders are individuals in a group
that was given the responsibility of directing and coordinating activities to achieve its objectives
(Ibrahim Mamat, 2001).
Many studies have been made in connection with the leadership and various leadership
theories have been put forward. As a school leader, be wise to analyze and show concern for these
two aspects, namely the task and human relations. The role of a leader is becoming increasingly
complex and must take a more relevant approach so that the leadership effectiveness can be
maintained.
You must find a teacher figure who have served more than 20 years in primary school. Do interview
sessions with the teacher concerned, taking into account his role and leadership during his services.
Interpret the role and leadership of the above teacher figure as a professional leader based on his
leadership achievements and effectiveness.
